Obito is like the Severus Snape for Naruto (well maybe not quite right but now Naruto looks up to Obito as a similar kind of figure that Harry views Snape).

RIP, misunderstood lonely boy. At least now he gets to have Rin's ass for himself.

PS: Now that I think about it I understand why Naruto was so forgiving despite Obito committing many atrocities. He is in many ways, similar to Hashirama who was also forgiving to the Uchiha clan who has slaughtered his brothers. In the end of the day revenge and grudge would only to more revenge and grudge. His ways may have been twisted but Obito sort of redeemed himself and Naruto probably also saw himself in Obito just like Obito saw himself in Naruto. Well that's what I think anyway.

"I can't see him as anything else but awesome"

Does Naruto have short term memory? This guy killed Neji, his parents, he's the reason why almost every bad thing in the series happend, but somehow Naruto just seems like it doesn't matter anymore because Obito also wanted to become Hokage a long time ago. Naruto just keeps making me dislike him more and more.

It was about time for Obito to die.

And wtf Naruto, you thing the coolest guy is the one who killed your parents, some of your friends, and did a lot of horrible things that would be hard to count.

Mangapanda Tenten fanart before the chapter is hot!!!

.

.

Anyway, what I think is the most interesting and noteworthy thing about this chapter (that some may have unintentionally overlooked) is the fact that the arm that Naruto severed off Kaguya (which is the left) is the one Black Zetsu resides in the sleeve of. Or am I looking too deeply into it all...?

Ah, so Obito also wanted to become Hokage. Well I'm not surprised.

This was mentioned quite a while back.

Welp thats it for Obito, RIP!! I imagine the battle will escalate now. There is nothing holding back naruto, and sasuke from taking that bitch down.

And Obito leaves with Rin to get friendzoned for eternity. But one question... WHY DIDN'T THEY GRAB HIS FUCKING EYES BEFORE HE DISINTEGRATED!!!!???

Kaguya is really a lame villain though. She doesn't talk, just takes orders from Black Zetsu (who, until now, may have been possibly the least threatening person in the whole Naruto universe). It also doesn't make sense, why not just leave Naruto and co in the other dimension and be like "Later motherfuckers, I'm out of here" and teleport to Naruworld.

Haha Zetsu was so brutally honest to Obito. "Everyone will hate you, no one will care that you're dead, you're trash". This was actually hard for me to read, really felt bad for the guy.

In the end I ended up liking Obito's character, despite initially hating him (thinking the anime has had some influence on that as well). Now if only Kishi can do the same for Kaguya.

Going to be honest, if someone told me a few years ago that "The final villain in Naruto is the will of the Ten Tails" or something like that, I would be really excited. I think Kaguya really had potential as a villain, but she was executed so badly that I can't get myself to like her. The only possible way to have redeemed her revival (asspull) would be to actually give her a likeable personality, which isn't possible when she doesn't talk and shows no emotion. Plus Madara was better, most people were actually enjoying when he was the main villain.

As for the chapter, it was fine. Obito is redeemed in my eyes (as a character, not as a  person, nothing can redeem genocide). That last panel with him meeting Rin again was great, but nothing tear-jerking (at least for me).

OMG GUYS LETS LOOK AT THIS, WHO DO YOU THINK IS THIS MYSTERIOUS MAN?

O_o wow.

Sad to see him go. RIP Obito.

Wait, did Kaguya's arm just get cut off? Dayum Naruto is pissed.

RIP Obito. He wasn't that great of a villain but I really enjoy his character still.

May Obito's sacrifices won't be in vain. So he's the coolest guy for Naruto. That statement, "Obito Uchiha, a shield for the future." was a striking one. Kaguya is too fast for even Sasuke now. Kaguya's arm got ripped off. I actually expected something like that to happen due to Naruto's anger.

I agree that it was time for Obito to die, as for Naruto forgiving him, I believe once it came to light that everything about Obito's past was manipulated by Madara (Including Rin's death), it became that much easier to forgive him. After all, he was just a pawn in someone else's grand scheme.

Not to mention forgiveness is, well, Naruto's thing (and apparently, the whole purpose of the series). So one must wonder, will he forgive Katsuya? Black Zetsu?

As for the shadow in the back, it can only be Sakura.

A lot of feels this chapter.. Obito, you definitely were the coolest in these past few chapters. T_T

Reunion with Rin was nice at the end.

Well, Sasuke eye power is back now and Naruto is going on offense once again. Though I doubt Kaguya will be going down anytime soon.

Good chapter. The Hogakes need to hurry up and enter the dimensions!
