Hagoromo himself stated he was nothing more than chakra in CH 670 and that he died a long time back. This means that part of his chakra itself could have been transmigrated into someone who at this point is still unknown as the 4th sealed his chakra inside naruto to talk to him again when the time came. It's not out of the realm of impossibility (it's anime) that Hagoromo could've done the same as he's far superior compared to naruto's father. But I would agree it's too soon to say for sure, but it's fun to think about no?
I honestly didn't think about that. I had read that chapter as if Hagoromo was just randomly there in Naruto's/Sasuke's soul because he was the son's reincarnation. I didn't think about how it could just be a bit of his chakra, like how Minato and Kushina did, and Hagoromo (himself or reincarnated) could be elsewhere, like you said. And since Hagoromo doesn't approve of Kaguya's method, he could be a potential target if he's still around. I still think Kaguya's after somthing else entirely, but it's a decent theory to think about.

What in the world was the edo tensei so developed for if certain characters can come back to life by virtue of their chakra possessing people. Jeez, Orochimaru, here I thought you were intelligent! Anyway, Kaguya seems to be an awesome villain potentially, but darn it she should have had her own arc after Madara was defeated, with a proper introduction and forshadowing and not a few chapters worth of scary faces in the background (and random information dumps scattered here and there).
With that said, it was cool when Kaguya seemed to be talking about not wanting to fight ... then in the next panel she showed she's out for destruction. Otherwise, I don't know anymore. You could fit the Juubi inside some of these plot holes.
Kaguya was never dead. Nor was it stated that she was. She was obviously the ten tails this whole time. The thing just turn into her this chapter for christ's sake.

the uchiha delema/PAIN is what made this series in my opinion and with that gonn there is nothing else to lean on, so i hardly doubt kichi can recover from this mess .... but i'l just wait and see what kichi has instored for the raging fans
Ass up powerups? Its been forshadowed that Naruto had the sage's power since he fought the Kyuubi.
yes eventualy gaining 6 path hermit's power would have been acceptable, but switching from sage mode and rasengan to GOD mod is kinda taky and NOT very befitting of this saga ... sasuke's evolution was okey, up until the point were he gained the rinnegan, and still when you look at it, it seems realy really messed up, too many power ups, too many charecters fading from existence through out the arc so it's kinda starting to look like a realy realy bad fanfic ... i hope kichi becomes aware of this and strats damage control, even though it might be too late :/

This gives me Final Fantasy flashbacks where I favored Sin's multiple meanings over Sephiroth's wavy hair and Kefka's kooky laugh, unlike, well, everybody.
I also like the new white Zetsu concept. I always found it anticlimactic them simply being clones of a powerful character. Humans turned into soldiers by means of the story's main peril and by the person who created both the biggest gift and the biggest threat to the Narutoworld (chakra manipulation and tailed beast) is much more interesting and worthy of analysis.

That's my point that it made sense when it was first stated that zetsus were imperfect clones of Harashima. You need his cells specifically or someone with his cells (Yamato) to create them. I only remember it being said that Madara needed the cells himself to achieve the Sage's eyes and control the tree. My guess is that the term "clone" meant something alike "wood clone" and Yamato's control of wood helped the process not unlike how it enhanced Naruto's necklace. Maybe Madara didn't know the clones were actually being summoned entirely from the tree itself instead of the First Hokage's cells.
It would be nice if someone could quote Madara's speech so we can go over it.

The juubi and the tree basically. People wondering from where she game or people thinking she was inside Zetsu are wrong. She was inside Madara after he absorbed the tree that was the Juubi basically.
No no no. You both misunderstood it.
WE all of people aware that Kaguya exist somewhere as observer(yeah Juubi and Tree), the prove is Indra and Ashura and Hagoromo. That's obvious.
The problem is the way she appeared. Kishimoto spent like 50+ chapter for built-up Vs Madara fight. How invincible he is, his mighty and prowess, how he supervising his plan. Then, with everything ready and they about to start the showdown, out of the blue Kaguya took the stage and Madara is gone. That's so absurd no matter how you try to justifies it. Now we back to built-up moment as we still don't know this Kaguya personality and "flashback" background which can consumes another 50+ chapters, which is high possibility that Kaguya might get stabbed by someone as similar as Madara. LoL
Nagato->Obito->Madara->Kaguya->Indra?

This chapter was not the greatest chapter , however this clearly has been in the making for a while. The moment that the god tree was whispering it was clear that kaguya would be the next one to appear.
sure its going a bit over the top but i think hes building up to something really nice :
-What is the technique that hashirama taught sasuke ?
- Madara , clearly shows in the history with hashirama is just deluded, he is not evil , he just wants a complete world in that jutsu since somewhere deep down i think he wants to be re-united with his brother , since he loved his brother the most according to hashirama, the more he went against naruto and started with the infinite jutsu the more it became clear he actually believes that he is saving the world , not destroying it or any kind of way . So is madara then bad ? nah its just a weird kind of wanting to protect.
The 4 edo tensei's are indeed unaffected , orbito is also still out there , thou he does look like he is about to die.
Now what i have seen so far there could be a couple more plot twists / or things that might happen :
- Hagoromo comes out and gives the edo tensei's his chakra aswell , or the ability to fully use the sealed tools.
-Hagoromo could come out to save naruto and the others while sacrificing his last bit of chakra.
-there could also be a possibility the other son of kaguya could become into play , he has been mentioned to often in the past chapters not to make an appearance.
- Kabuto is also back out there , he might actually resummon madara if madara is actually dead, then with origimaru's help (the improved edo tensei) he could keep madara from breaking free and in control , forcing him to team up and be a "savior" like he always wanted to be.
Considering his shadows vanished and the chakra changed to kaguya's you are left to wonder what happened to madara , if he is absorbed completely and his chakra is gone (the chakra is waay bigger then madara's ) it would be very fun to see a pissed of madara trying to get some payback against that kaguya.
the last farfetched idea would be orochimaru summoning the entire uchiha clan that got massacred by itachi , considering nthey all died but didnt get summoned by edo tensie , yet at that time orochimru was nog banished out of the village yet so technically he could have gotten the samples he needed to summon those later.
He still seems to have his own agenda.
