We haven't seen Sasuke in a fair few chapters so he has to get thrown in once in a while because everyone loves him xD.

Actually Naruto surprised me this week I thought it was quite a good story.

Besides the cover where the whole Sasuke/Naruto fate thing comes again to annoy, I liked this chapter. I wanted to know what happened the night the kyuubi attacked Konoha, and that's what I'm getting. This chapter has been much better than the recent weeks... I hope Kishi keeps this up!

Naruto on other hand? Yes It was about morals, gray view of the world,e tc.



That was till the whole kyuubi-fiasco at the end of pain arc. Since then, the "moral compass" of Naruto world has been at the level of Digimon series.



If it's at the level of the Digimon series, then what's the problem? The Digimon series, at least in the Japanese, was hardly a kids' show, in certain regards, with some good moral themes.

Could you imagine how much more popular Naruto would have been had it began like this? Nice to see Naruto's dad actually fight, I can kind of get him being a bit broken. Except for the token Uchiha appearances I liked this chapter.

The chapter is good but the whole flashback should have been presented some time ago, we already know the major events of what happened so having this particular flashback seems pointless.

D'aww, little Sasuke & Itachi are so cute!  As for the rest, I suppose it all makes sense and seeing Minato in combat is always fun to watch (guess I can't really call it combat though).  Not a bad chapter, I'm just more excited about the present than the tragic past.

Maybe we'll get lucky and have some nice fight scenes with Minato. (Won't count on it though.)
