Bleach Chapter 685 Discussion

Could that mystery captain actually be Renji? It was mentioned on the last pages that mystery captain went on "That thing for a new captain"? Renji was there with rukia?

Biggest troll lol 685 was supposed to be the last chapter, but nope. Well Rukia becomes the Captain of  13th Division.

Really enjoyed this reading chapter thoroughtly.



  The first moment was really sad with Shunsui talking to Ukitake, i was expecting him to have died but it was still sad.



All the interactions were really cool to, especially between Shinji and Momo :D



Not gonna forget to special mention little Nemu ofc , Kubo fucking knows how to draw his characters





Aaand of course my fav part  Rukia becoming captain! Well deserved!  





Gotta mention tho although i don't want to believe it i have this feeling that Yhwach might be not actually dead.. That black thing at page 9 ( 9!)  and what Yhwach said about him cutting them at their happiest moment + What Akon said , that kinda makes me feel a little bit worried actually but nah that can't happen right?  Naah not gonna happen

I will bet that the lectures are from Ichigo and Orihime's son/daughter. Make it happen Kubo, there is no more room for long-ass fights full of dialogs.

Btw, nothing against Tetsuzaemon being a new Captain, but how did he ended up one, when we didn't even knew the name of his Zanpakuto, but Renji didn't?

The opening scene, Hisagi's joke (like a last laugh on the readers), Rukia's promotion... there were all nice things, taken independently. And by drawing this epilogue, the author avoided the Saint Seiya's end I had imagined for Bleach since a few weeks (months even). I just hope this "Gunm-like" conclusion won't be erased in a few years. {looking at the Gunm titles publication history...} No, I really hope it won't.



4/5 because of the content. As a chapter in the manga's continuity, it was pretty unworthy.

4-5/10 probably for the series. (it should have been shorter than Dragon Ball)



I am also surprised that Ichigo didn't take a life-long job there ("to help"). Well, maybe he is working in the medical field on Earth.



The next chapter taking place on Earth would be more inrteresting. After all, 10 years are nothing for shinigami, they live in a very slow world where nothing moves at our pace. For the human characters on the contrary, ten years are a big chunk of life where a lot could happen.

That chapter title. Even to the very end Kubo is still the king of trolls.



I do enjoy time skips at the end if the series but with as much explaining that needs to be done I'm dissapointed.
