You might be right here. Both Nanao mother and Shunsui got Katen Kyoukotsu. They had to decide the true owner. It was probably a terrible decision to make for both of them when Nanao mother found solution.

Since then Shunsui still thinks of her and takes care of Nanao keeping his promise.

Damn I'm loving this manga so much as the question's being answered one by one

i don't mind lille's new form. it's weird of course, but not everything you see is going to look the way you want it to....



the fight is almost definitely not done and will drag on as shunsui's backstory gets laid out. i'm really interested to see the relationship between shunsui and nanao/her mum.



the idea that shunsui's bankai is nanao's mum is interesting. is that even possible? can shinigami become a bankai? lol. unless nanao is some sort of creation like nemu was? hmmmmmmm.



now... shunsui seems out of action, so nanao is gonna fight lille?!?!? possible nanao bankai hype?!?! now there's a name people wouldn't originally associate a bankai with.
