I want him to bring her back!

It's hard to care about a character's death when all they ever were up until a few chapters ago were some tits and an ass being bossed around by somebody who didn't seem to care if said tits and ass survived or not. The whole thing about Nemu's past was a ham fisted attempt to garner some kind of emotional connection, sort of like that commercial from a few years ago where they had a lamp sitting in the rain. Only here there's no narrator calling you stupid for feeling sorry for an object.



In the end, that's all Nemu was, a thing. She was never treated as anything more than that by Mayuri. But oh, now she's somehow his most important project because she actually fought for one whole chapter and he secretly felt stuff for her. Did Kubo watch Interstellar? Because this feels exactly like something that movie would pull in order to blind people to how terrible it was.

Seeing Aporro was nice.

I really hope the fight is over, he gonna build a new Nemu soon anyway.

That was excellent. Szayel appearing out of nowhere like that almost jump-scared me, but I like how Mayuri did not end up raging (or at least it was contained). This is more in-character with him; Szayel, who was a figment of his imagination manifested through self-doubt, managed to tell him to get back into the game.



My question is, why do the majority of you think this will be the last chapter in this fight? Seriously, lol.
