Its not just any secondary character at least. Its one of the best ones, imo. If you want to complain, then there is always the Mask fight.

So apparently the battle with the Soul King's hand is over and Mayuri proved once again that he is one crazy mother fucker. It looks like next issue is supposed to be "Must See" along with a color cover. Maybe it's information announcing the return of the Bleach anime!? That would be fucking hype.
