This whole arc feels like a filler.

Well this arc is now moving back at a snail's pace, not much happened.



All that happened, we said goodbye to the Fullbringers, that was to be expected, I liked that moment Ichigo and Riruka, I am a sucker for male leads just being nice, Ichigo reminded me of a lead character form a harem, and Riruka's reaction just too adorable.



What we discovered, the world has started to be rewritten in the way of Qunicys. I don't know the world don't seem so bad if Ywabach is the new ruler, maybe we he will try to reason with Ichigo.

The pacing in this chapter really hurts... I see Kubo trying to extend the war longer for some reason... When will they actually freakin' fight?

Also, that ichigoxriruka moment even though we know that she has literally no chance to win the Ichigobowl..

-Ichigo's maturity and decision making

-Yukio's realistic views on his own power

-Riruka's growth since the fullbring arc

-Ganju's insecurity

-Yoruich's agitation about when things apparently didn't go smoothly.

-The nervousness before going into battle, this was really well done.

Other than Riruka being so damned adorable during her interaction with Ichigo, this chapter offered nothing.  It brought nothing new to the table.  It was an entire chapter of "Oh, we're here!".  This pacing is atrocious, I believe it was after the last chapter that I said "Since we've had such a great chapter prepare for another 30 years of crap" and Kubo is making sure my prediction comes true.  Honestly, this arc should have ended a long time ago.  It could have ended a few times already, some of the anime fillers were better than this.

Riruka's such a tsundere.

But if Yhwach absorbed the Soul King, and they gonna kill Yhwach, wouldn’t that be like.. a problem?

Nice to see Ichigo's growth and interactions, especially when comparing to how he entered Soul Society for the first time. I love that Kubo actuall bothers to bring characterization to characters. Really helps to establish and ground them.
