Best chapter in a while and that doesn't mean that this chapter was amazing, its just that the few last chapters were terrible.

So why did a creature like Juha come into existence in the first place? I guess he is somehow connected to Soul King. This reveal didn't reveal anything at all.

that's what i was wondering in the first place. it's like, all of a sudden, there's a baby with lots and lots of power to give.

i'm not sure if i'm fully understanding this though. when juha is at FULL power, he's blind, deaf, dumb and all of the above? but when people "borrow" his power, he becomes a conscious being?

please tell me i'm on the wrong track here.

He gets more than his soul back when those people died. It was mentioned that their powers, knowledge and talent goes to Juha as well. So if he is giving 100% he always gets back more than 100%.

Which gets me thinking that Juha's existence is just pure evil at the form of a human. Surely he 'heals' the wounded but those are never a win-win situation. The wounded are short lived. Think of it as a whole, Juha's worshipers actually lost more than they gain.

Evil? Satan? You can think of it like this. He took some part of angels from God. Now he is fighting against the God(Soul king?), taking souls (literally) from humans (and other creatures), giving them "powers" and after(is it really after?) they die he is taking their souls.

But I feel something wrong is with this reasoning... I don't know what thought.

At the chapter:

1. 5/5

2. It explain few things (more or less at least)

- Why he killed Yamamoto so easily (1000 years of gathering souls)

- Why Sternritters want to die for him that much: when you consider Sternritters as creatures that has some kind of disease, missing limb or something, and he healed them... well that makes more sense

- Why he need to fight: I don't think it's only mere revenge. Look at last page - he is happy because he can see.  Considering this, I think:

a) he is taking too much energy to fight?

b) his energy is slowly escaping his body?

c) his body needs more energy because he is older/stronger?

- Less probably: Theory about quincy: Yuha Bach (Let's call him by his old name because new name is little hard to pronounce) might not be the first quincy, but "the first Sternritter". He was one of the first Quincies that can give powers to others. He gave powers to people. They lived not too much (even few days?). He gave it to some Quincies - they were capable to withstand it more. Take into account that he "created" new way, much powerful... "of engraving it directly into soul"

Ywach already killed hollow/arrancars so that poison thing probably doesn't affect him.

He killed Yamamoto, does that mean he has all his knowledge, skills and talent, if so he's powerful as fck and I think if he absorbs enough he gets his youth back too.

Well I see that the adjective of the day in this thread is the word: broken.

I don't care about this guy or his minions, but i've always kind of liked Uryuu which means that at  least this chapter wasn't 100% unpleasant.

I don't like this overpowering, but maybe Kubo's planning on pitting him against the Soul King. That might make sense, although how is Ichigo going to save the day against a guy like this?

Shinigami, Human, Hollow, Quincy, Fullbring, by your powers combined...
