Man, first time I was really paying attention to Rojuro/Rose... he acts like a badass, then gets owned like that. I liked how he was basically just like "yeah say what you will... shit happens". That was pretty epic, crushing his own eardrums though. Rizzle said:

Of course, it wouldn't be a Shonen, or as entertaining if we weren't told what the ability does somehow.

Why didn't they use their hollow powers?

Am I the only one who's appalled at how two captains literally got dropped like flies? Does Kubo even care anymore? There used to be a time when being a captain actually meant you had a few chapters worth of a fight, not a few panels

God damn Kubo really likes to shit hard on the Visored, first Shinji got one shotted, Kensei got all f'd up, and now Rose got Kira'd.



Give them a break dude, but anyway Rose's Bankai was pretty sweet.



Looks like the wrestler dude is going down finally, he took out too much people lol.

If this was supposed to be a comedy chapter, then it worked.  At least one new Bankai got revealed.  I don't actually mind if the fodder captains get only a few pages of show-case, that way we can get to the more anticipated ones quicker.



Though Renji is my least anticipated from all of the powered-up players, I guess he can keep me occupied until the rest get their time.

I'm one of a rare ones who like seeing side characters fight, not like in some manga where they just get forgotten. But of course not when they are being beaten like shit. Kensei went down like a pussy and Rose, just when he started to be cool was removed from the spotlight.



Man this manga pisses me off so much. What is the state of Harribel, is she still alive? Where is Yoruichi and will we see her bankai in this lifetime?

Why the F. does everyone of these captains feel the need to explain their  bankaii ability to their opponent.

I was entertained by this chapter and I really like the vizards, but it sucks that they are downplayed to this level. They seem too cocky when going into battle and then we ended up having Shinji with an exploded shoulder, Kensei totally broken and Rose with hole in chest. We learned some time ago that the Quincies have fear for bankai-ability and hollowfication would have strengthen that threat. The vizard should have thought up a strategy or something, I find it disappointing that they didn't.

I'm also curious about Rose's finishing attack. Sad thing is that we might never see those bankai again since they are proved to be useless, and Kubo just wants to move on.  

Another thing: Mask could have easily stolen Kensei and Rose's bankai if he wanted to. Amazing that this joke-character is actually the most successful warrior in this war so far.

Renji entry was epic.

I found this to be an enjoying chapter. I loved all the Wrestling references because I'm a huge Wrestling fan. The hero guy was goofy but effective, he kicked ass. Him breaking his ear drums was genius strategy on his part. Renji came in looking like a complete boss, I love that he called himself a "villain".
