Bleach Chapter 554 Discussion

You know, one of the few "good" things about Bleach is that it's pretty equal opportunity on the matter of asspulls and assorted power ups. When our heroes lose their powers you'd think they're done for but, surprise!, here comes random MacGuffin with the power to revert exactly what the Quincies modified in the first place. But it's not over yet, oh no! Now the Quincies say the magic words "this isn't even my final form!" and "all according to keikaku!" and suddenly the situation "becomes true despair!" Will Goku defeat Majin Buu Ichigo ever arrive in time? Find out on the next chapter!

So once again, Soul Society needs Ichigo's help to get them out of their shit. So much for the protective guardians of the universe, these bitches can't even protect themselves. Well, whatever. I just hope Kubo doesn't kill off the hype of the vaizards arrivals yet again.

Kind of lame with this back-and-forth really...at least we get the explanation as to why they didn't just roflstomp all the Captains earlier.



Ahh yes, the titular main character. Almost forgot he even existed.

I'm losing patience with this series, its pulling way to much out of its ass for it to be as enjoyable.

Err, no. Were you not aware of the Vollständig? It's like the Quincy's trump card. Shinigami have their Bankai, Arrancar have their Resurrección, Quincy have the Vollständig. Read back through Quilge Opie's fight. I mean, it even goes as far as back to Ishida's fight against Mayuri in the SS arc, only that he used an outdated version called Letz Stil which drained him of all his Quincy powers.That's no issue, sure. But I'd like Kubo to explain why the Quincy bothered to steal the bankais when (chap 555 spoilers)
someone like Bambietta can end the war instantly with Vollständig or whatever.
