Bleach Chapter 540 Discussion

I am actually intrigued by this revelation, good job Kubo. Naruto this week was just random power ups and just a feel good chapter.



Why is it weird that Ichigo looks like Kaien? During his father's flashback it was revealed that Isshin is a Shiba, meaning Ichigo and Kaien are relatives. Isn't it normal for relatives to look like each other?



As for Ichigo battling the old man, during the numerous cut scenes of his inner world it was shown that the old man absorbed Shirosaki into him, so technically Ichigo was still fighting Zangetsu the sword.



The only thing I was puzzled about was Ichigo shown no signs of Quincy powers until this arc, if his Quincy power (the old man) was that dominant you would expect the Quincy powers to leak out multiple times.



From this chapter, from the forging scene the blade looked white and how the swordsmith talked about the Asauchi being white is it possible that Ichigo's new sword would be pure white like Rukia's sword? If that's the case that would be a big change.

Yhwach was pretending to be his Zanpakuto!

Wow, the first half of this chapter I was like "WTF is going on", but second part was pure epic, dat plot twist.



Can't wait to see Ichigo's new sword.

I keep reading bleach for shit like this, only Kubo can troll this much and at the same time make the whole thing somehow legit. Kubo/5

Ok we all saw the obvious resemblance but couldn't be sure Kubo will go with such a thing but he did.

All the plot questions this opens now need to be answered by Kubo since he opened the can of worms with this.

I'm not gonna start speculating about how exactly the whole thing worked inside Ichigo and just wait for the next few chapters to see if we get an answer.



My big question though is what did that guy mean by "that how i make me swords". He uses hollow? And how can a shinigamy forge a hollow. I'm really curious how the whole crazy thing works here.

Where are you Rukia with your simplistic rabbit drawing explanations to help us on this?

Kubo's character design look the same for a lot of character. It's like saying Masaki is related to Matsumoto with no other basis than them looking alike.



Masaki is brunette while Matsumoto is busty/big boobs with blonde hair so huge difference there








and the story speaks for itself when it was revealed that all Quincy has the blood of Juha Bach so its no surprise that it manifested on Zangetsu too



You really cant blame people for thinking like that. Look at Ichigo and Kaien they look almost exactly alike.
