Bleach Chapter 520 Discussion

So Unohana is not only a kendo master but the 1st kenpachi. It'll be interesting to see her and Zaraki interact. I don't know how i feel about zaraki getting a power boost though. His power level was already over hyped and all his fights, excluding the last one, ended with him killing the enemy with one hit. Giving him a bankai is probably just going to allow him to continue his streak of boring one hit kill battles.

Im pretty sure he hurt himself when he punched Renji. Renji didnt move, and the top rightmost panel shows Yakuza being surprised with the '!'

Plus he punched Ichigo in the face. Its hard to tense your cheek muscles enough to do what was done.

He would know.

Ichigo apparently moved fast enough to counter-attack without anyone even noticing it.










As i said, there was no reaction after punching ichigo, but he notices something when he punches renji. Then he clenches his fist and turns around, immediately dismissing Renji? I dont know, i just cant see it being ichigo. Unless it was his Blut Vene for a split second? Plus its kinda vague, with the fact he doesn't mention any names.

No, it was Renji's fist. I believe that Yakuza dude sees that Renji barely stands but lets him go anyway.

Then he says that ichigo DID something. I talked about what he said and the fact that Ichigo's supposed ultraspeed only comes in handy when it is convenient for Kubo.

I know what you mean, I just REALLY hope we get the full training and not just pieces of it, like we did with Ichigo's bankai.

I love how much of a freak Kenpachi is. I mean, to become the current Kenpachi he defeated the former one, and each Kenpachi is the strongest shinigami(aside from Unohana I'd safely assume) so for him to come off the street out of nowhere and actually kill the Kenpachi at the time, nice work!



I wonder what his relationship with Unohana is though? I mean, he said he named Yachiru after the only person he ever CARED about. To actually care about her means there's some backstory to them. Can't wait to find that out too!
