Go rewatch their fight or read the manga. Ichigo asks if hes in shikai, when Kenpachi says yes, Ichigo gets cocky thinking Kenpachi can't get any more powerful. Thats when Kenpachi stabs Zangetsu.



Kenpachi doesn't say yes. He simply says he sword has no other form and has no seal or anything of that stuff. That his sword always just been like that. So i wonder if his sword was like that always even when he was weaker then doesn't that mean his sword probably isn't even in shikai? For shikai don't you need to know the name of your sword? Other shinigami say it's name for shikai form.

Anyway even if it is in shikai he is still not really using shikai since he has no idea how to use shikai. So basically he doesn't even know how to use it and just swings around. Is like a guy given an AK47 and using it as a stick to hit people. Can you really say he uses the gun like that?

Tite Kubo already established that  Unohana will be fighting in "the next arc" [This was back in January] in an interview

Woah epic chapter, the new captain commander has been chosen. Good thing it went to Kyoraku.

Knew it all along that Unohana was the strongest and the most badass, can't wait til see what she can do. Hopefully an epic bankai.

Other translation has Zaraki say he named  Yachiru after "the strongest person he ever heard of"(hence "Yachiru" is like "Battōsai" in Kenshin - fabled and feared person, hence why Unohana changed her name) , so let's not rush to assumptions - Zaraki is most likely younger than her by more than few hundreds of years, after all.

So the Lieutenant of the 1st Squad has in the past been presented as having a Captain's white Jinbaori/Haori. But was that part of the station or just something that former Lieutenant Sasakibe did?



If it is part of the station, and if there's going to be two Lieutenants, do they both get the extra white garb?



....Oh and I suppose if Kyoraku is taking Nanao with him this leaves both a Captain and Lieutenant vacancy to also speculate about, but who cares about that, right?

I wonder on if we will learn Zaraki Kenpachi's real identity too, considering he has an amnesia and even the first flashbacks we saw of him have him with the face-scar.  Could have SS intentionally erased his memories in the past, for whatever reason(maybe he rebelled?)?

Also 0th Squad continues being shady. I am beginning to think that Soul King is something like God-Emperror of Mankind and the people RG brought there are for the same purpose as Sensei are in Warhammer 40k - something for Soul king to snack on...

Not really, Unohana's strength has been hinted since the very first databook and Kubo kept hyping her every arc - even freaking Aizen feared her, not to mention that at least few months ago Kubo already said that Unohana was sparring with Kenpachi in kendo as well as that Unohana was the best swordsman in entire SS.

Not necessarily, Yamaji had better overall stats, but Unohana has at least 2x the amount of Yamaji's offensive power and pretty much maximum capabilities at kido.
