Unohana was a beast huh.

Very good chapter I like Shunsui, don't know why he still hasn't his eye healed though x).

So this "very fishy" reason why they didn't take Zaraki is because of his incoming training(the thing when someone from the 0 division said to Unohana that there is something she has to do or should be doing). I like this better than fan-fiction writer's version ;].

Some things that bothered me.

1. So Okikiba lives? Man, you really have to be smashed into pieces to die in Bleach.

2. Yama tried to teach Zaraki the sword, but stopped after one day. << But yet because of that training he was able to defeat Noitora?

3. It was hint of Ichigo's 'amazing' speed? When Yakuza-dude punched him? It's kind of frustrating to see it only when Kubo remebers about it.

Still: 4/5.

Who is the last? And are the war potentials strictly down to the Shinigami side or can it be somebody else? Ishida is meant to have some uber power, and there's gotta be something up with Isshin too. Maybe even Ryuuken?

Well, Love was a captain in the past, perhaps after Fake Karakura he lost in janken because there were 3 captain seats available and 4 vaizards, so now he can go back to his "but still no one cares about him" status ;].

Nope. I can't recall that you said she was the first Kenpachi. You'd only repeated Kubo's words from some interview and info from databooks taht she is supposed to be uberstrong.
