Bleach Chapter 512 Discussion

laaaaaaaame

Holy shit was this chapter awful. What a waste of pages.

So it was Ichigo after all, the most obvious and most boring solution.

And I said this before and I'll say it again: WHAT THE FUCK IS UNOHANA DOING??? Get your goddamn ass out there already and HEAL some people instead of sitting around doing NOTHING. It's frustrating how little sense this makes.

Well that was short. Ichigo comes to save the day as usual.

what a damn short chapter that was. I didn't even felt it.

Happy that Byakuya is not dead yet, but I guess, since he himself said it, he's going to die. ugh, i'm still not prepare for this.

I'm happy that Ichigo is finally here! I still want to know who was the person that helped him get out, was it that guy in the first pages? Because, if it was him, then that's kind of a disappointment for me, since I wanted their saviour to be Grimmjoww.

A whole chapter dedicated to Ichigo's entrance. :S

It was still a good chapter but now I gotta wait for another week to see them fight!! D:

Dream on man. Next chapter is to exchange pleasantries!

The one after that is another flashback...

Lol this made me laugh, as that's whats probably going to happen in coming chapters.

Anyways feels like such a short chapter since it was only Ichigo's entrance. Byakuya is probably dead now. He did say he was dying.

I wanna see Ichigos hollow mode. He hasn't used it since his got his powers back I wonder what'll happen when he does.

The damage that Ichigo has suffered is probably self-inflicted, I don't think he gave up on firing those Getsuga Tenshous inside that confined space... a testament on how desperate he was to save SS. He won't let Bach walk away... even though he should.

I support this one, though I think that all this dirt and blood is mainly a result of his fight with Kirge. I don't understand why people immediately assumed that he is in for a powerup. He already had one last arc.I think he is good enough to compare to Yamaji.

I don't really get what you mean by "he should"Bach wants to walk away now... and Ichigo "should" let him, since he's too tired, too agitated and too unaware of what Bach can do to fight him properly. Rage, impulsiveness and lack of energy killed Yamamoto.

Edit: Basically, I expect Ichigo to get crushed like Kenpachi.

Also, I don't belive that Ichigo is capable to kill HUMAN so straight. Ichigo is a good guy and he hasn't killed anyone in bleach yet.

The first person he really killed was Ulquiorra - with which he dealt for a long time till he overcame his guilt.

Ichigo is not exactly the typical no-kill shounen hero. Till FKT he did not really have any REASON to want someone dead and was sorting out his own emotions and identity (as represented by Hichigo and Zangetsu, two sides of Ichigo), after Jinzen he has clearly matured a lot and was willing to kill Aizen, even if he pitied him.

The Fullbring arc was all about him maturing into adulthood, he had a killing intent against tsukishima and he did not hesitate to kill Ginjou without mercy nor pity. Even though he recognized Ginjou as human - this Ichigo understood that Ginjou is a threat that needs to be eliminated and did not think about the whole deal like a teenager.

The only reason Ivan and Kirge actually lived through their encounters was because Ichigo was being smart and wanted to know who they hell they are and what they want first - he clearly went easy on Ivan wanting to take him back and interrogate and with Kirge he and Urahara were trying to understand on how to counter reishi absorption of Kirge's

Its feel like they left out a page or 3. The battle between ichigo and domino must have been a good one because ichigo looks like he got roughed up a little. I wish kubo would have show it instead of implying that it happened....

There was no battle. He most likely got roughed up during his time in the cage for whatever reason.

Him against Domino was bassically one second deal as you saw everything that happened - in one panel you see Ichigo lunging at Domino at incredible speed and the next you see a huge explosion. I guess you could say Ichigo Yamaji'd Domino.

I still dont get why everyones so disappointed with the chapter. Yes it was very short. But we've had a month of Yamaji's awesomness. In many cases i've noticed after bits of awesomeness the manga tones down for at least a couple chapters. Dont forget theres still a helluva lot more of this arc to come. I think it's almost impossible to keep it high paced the entire way. He's not being lazy, he's being smart and pacing it out.

Ever think that maybe this was such a simple chapter to draw, it'd give him more time to do the next chapter or two?

idk about you guys and about your crying about the chapter but i think i missed something why is Ichigo so beaten?

^

THIS.

its quite clear that something awfully bad happened.

True, and is it just me or does Ichigo's zanpakutou look slightly different? Another power-up while we weren't there?

Emm...Isn't he like that simply because he was trying to get out of that thing? I mean he was making getsuga tenshous in his own face while trying to brake it.

What is it with the stupid logic you people have? She's in the barracks of squad 4. Why is that so strange? She is healing people but she's healing the ones being brought there. Don't our doctors do the same thing in war? Heal the ones being brought in the place they have a medic center? They don't run in the middle of fights to heal the ones getting wounded.

Also Unohana isn't only healing people at the 4th squad, she's supervising pretty much the whole 4th squad because yes that's pretty much the job of a captain.

If it isn't that much apparent with the others squads (Since only the captain and vice captain can pretty much fight), for a squad like the 4th where medical prowess of almost all shinigami in the squad is a necessity, it takes a leader to supervise them.

Also I don't think that Unohana is dumb enough to go at Bach without a plan and big preparation since she knows he was able to defeat Yamamoto. She might come to help Ichigo in his fight in the best case but I very doubt she would attempt another 1v1 especially since she'd need Bankai (if only for the reiatsu power up) if she want to stand a chance.
