WARNING, major speculations incoming...
Kirio Hikifune... that's her name, the name of the person who caused the explosion in the last panel, the name of the person who held a sword to Urahara's face, the name of the person that Hiyori got a scent of in the second chapter of this arc. Hikifune was the person who preceeded Urahara as Hiyori's captain of the 12th squad after all.
Hikifune for sure should be in Royal Guard/0th Squad (that is if promoteed ones are actually promoted and not just used somehow by existing members. , its left up to interpretation), but I doubt they will introduce RG by one. Most likely we will get some "epic entrance" of many of them and I doubt they would just react this fast Of course everything can happen,

I wonder if this arc is going to make people make drastic changes to Bleach's score and completely forgot everything that came before.
Bleach should have started out as a seinen and it would have been much better, and at this point it would probably be around chapter ±200.
(Assuming it wasn't a snail paced as this)
5/5 for this chapter. RIP Yama-jii, I said I'd so a little dance when you died, but I feel too much pity to do so.
With this I actually agree.
Kubo has a particular art-style and penchant for violence that just does not work in shonen genre. Now I would not say that Bleach would have been better from that, but his next manga, imo should certainly be seinen and monthly, if he was ever to create one.

The Ichigo who manhandled monster Aizen would obviously wreck Yamamoto, but this version of Ichigo is significantly weaker than Yamamoto at the moment. So I'm talking about current Ichigo, obviously.
Nevermind Yamamoto, even characters like Urahara/Isshin etc are probably stronger (until Ichigo gets a random power-up that is)
That's the funny thing - we do not know yet. We did not see Ichigo even try to do anything or have serious fight yet. We saw him decimate Ginjou with no effort at all, then have two skirmishes whcih both he escaped with minor to no damage to him and in both cases Ichigo did not even intend to actually fight them and was trying to get some info out.
