I never mentioned either name. I don't get you. My point was that from the get-go Bleach promised sword-clash --ing battles. I see no point at ch.508 demanding a tactic-battle. Tactic-battles are cool and all but there is a limit to how much one can demand from a creator/author. One can demand sth like "a more reasonable battle system" where one isn't OP and the other can't even touch him but at the same time you can't really demand "smarter-battles" cuz this might as well be beyond the capabilities of the author.

We've been through that countless times over the past chapters. Quince and Shinigami isn't some kind of hereditary ability, just like how Ishida learned how to be a Quincy, just like how the souls in Soul Society enter the army and learn how to be a Shinigami. Therefore learning both is feasible, and the fact that he was wielding a Zanpakutou (him AND other people of his organisation) pretty much verifies it.We have no evidence that what he was using actually is a Zanpakutou. So far, it just seems like a regular sword.



No, but we have many hints that Juha used to be a Shinigami and he turned a traitor. Also it would be pointless to assume that he was carrying a spiritual object in a sword-shape and not assume that it's a zanpakutou.It's shape doesn't say it's a zanpakuto, ok I'd take it that Bach's could be in Shikai form, but why do all of them have the same type of swords?

Bach is being pushed back because of Yama's rage, he can't attack because his Blut is on defense and if you remember a Quincy can't attack and defend at the same time. We also don't know whether he can steal Yama's Bankai or not, his Bankai's capacity/reiatsu is too huge to be stolen. Even if he could steal it, I doubt it's that easy to do so.

Freaking awesome chapter. Yama's sword is all about hell (which fits the idea of shinigami as "demons" and quincy as "angels"). I am guessing Bach's attacks will be heaven-based stuff.



Also interesting is that Bach IS succesfully dodging Yama so far. My bet is that he is stalling.

Yamamoto and the captains in previous chapter spelled it out - his bankai is burning stuff up all around SS.



Bringing his bankai out in Fake KT would most likely result in pillars crumbling instantly, which would be counter-productive.

Look at Kenpachi's sword, 1st level. ps. There was some sentence about zanpakutos & shinigamis, Ichigo's father have said this to some arrancar, grand-fisher maybe.Read what I wrote again, how could all of the Quincy have the same type of sword?

Damn. Bleach was amazing this week. I'm speechless.

Next week Juhabach goes into quincy final form and turns soul society into one big nuke arrow. That's the only way i see him getting out of this lol.

Necessarily they are teachings but some circumstances have to be involved as well.

For example, Quincy are human beings while Shinigami are spiritual beings.



Chad and Inoue cannot as of right now be "taught" the Shinigami ways and receive a Zanpaktou. They would have to be in spiritual form. The only reason Ichigo is able to do this is because his father was a Shinigami so he is half Shinigami and human which is why he is able to leave his body while the others can't.



Shinigami powers does not have to be blood-related though, any spirit being can become one as long as they do the training and learn the teachings.



Ichigo is the exception because he did not have to go through all that training:

1.) He is half Shinigami from his father's side(Who was a Captain so that adds to why he was so strong.)

2.) Rukia had "transferred" her powers to him in the beginning which immediately awoke his powers which laid dormant and allowed him to wield a Zanpaktou instead of him having to go through all that training her and many others had to go through.
