I don't know how powerful that boss quincy is, but even though I don't expect Kenpachi to defeat him, I sure hope he makes him work for his win!



Also, the only beating Kenpachi got so far was at the hands of Ichigo, so I'd rank him #2 power-wise.



Inoue is good for healing, but there's no way Ishida and Chad compare to Kenpachi.... EVER!



EDIT: May I point out that Kenpachi doesn't even have a scratch on him? He's not even panting at all!

I hope next week we'll see Kenpachi kicking some ass and Kubo won't drop this as a cliffchanger and go to show us other characters

Byaku is really dead? i can't believe.It's one of most popular Bleach characters, if Kubo really killed him, he needs a applause.I really like Byaku, but it's an cruel war.

Maybe it's just me but Byakuya's death felt kind of... weak.

kira is also dead right... so whats up with that, he was not even able to do something cool. but the thing is,him learning bankai is just weird. bankai is supposed to be rare for any shinigami...so kubo made the right move in not giving it just to anyone... i wonder where ikaku and others at...

As about Kenpachi i actually got pissed off seeing him meeting the boss. That means he ain't gonna annihilate anyone anymore(well at least it seems he took two out).

While he could go around killing the shit out of the other dudes other captains have a hard time fighting with, now that he was put against the boss he obviously won't be able to win since that guy is probably a monster of power at the level of the captain commander.  

What a seriously bad tactic. If you have someone like Kenpachi that can actually fight them you don't waste him by putting him against the strongest guy the enemy has and risking losing him.

Well i guess he just went there by his own but still they should have ordered him not go there.

Did Kubo really killed Byakuya here!? I have to say I didn’t see that coming.

Kenpachi is probably my favorite character of the series, I mean come on, how fucking cool is this guy. I’m afraid he’s attitude is gonna cost him sooner or later in this arc, especially know that Kubo isn’t holding back anymore.

Man, Kenpachi never ceases to amuse me. I know that he has an advantage since he doesn't have Bankai, but slaying 2 Vandenreich members with his eyepatch still on? Woah there. He's probably one of the 5 "special war potentials" since he's already on par with an average captain even with his power sealed...I just hope that the Vandenreich leader doesn't kill him D: But then again he's probably gonna have to do through that other guy first.



And where the hell is Yamamoto? Maybe he's making his way towards the Vandenreich leader? Yamamoto/Kenpachi vs Vandenreich leader/unnamed member would be awesome!

Aw, come on. If you kill off a somewhat important and very much loved character such as Byakuya, at least do it right, so we actually care. This was... meh. For hundrets of chapters no "good" character died and now suddenly everyone is being killed off? Bleach is really at it's last breath.



Still, I'm not entirely convinced Byakuya is dead.
