I hope Ichigo save Byakuya and Renji, after escaping from the trap.



PS: Poor Rukia O_O

Byakuya isn't dead. His reiatsu probably disappeared, so Rukia assumed he was dead and thought 'RIP'.

If such an important character like Byakuya dies, Kubo will be really daring.



And this "zombie Rukia" delusion reminded me of the delusions caused by psychic attacks in Saint Seiya manga:








Creepy ... lol

(I'll pretend like I didn't see that "panel" on the Rukia page and enjoy her smiling.)



So they didn't answer the question, what a let-down.  I seriously wasted so much time this past week seeking out spoilers like a man-possessed.  I'm not really looking forward to the next few chapters if they're going to get through all of the fights first.  Might as well marathon them when they're a bit further.



Also, Byakuya is not going to die, obviously.  Even if he lost every part of his body other than his head, I'd still say he'd get healed somehow.  However, if Kubo has the courage to kill him off, he will definitely gain some respect.  Renji and Rukia can get a lot of character development from it and have some very emotional scenes.  Not to mention, Ichigo/Renji would probably snap and go bloodlust mode in a future encounter with Quincy.

Maybe Energy. It's the most logic. Emptyness is a good guess too. But they are maaany other options.

but seriously why would anyone think he'll die? and even if he died, so what? I was already pissed 2 times when Gin & Ulquiorra died so I think I've become immune to Kubo's trolling.

Because this is the last arc; where everyone is getting their ass kicked and having their shit (bankai) stolen from them? Hence, based on the way the plot is going right now, they might as well end up killing Ichigo in the end of the series.
