And if Ichigo mother is Ryuken sister then Ichigo and Ishida are cousin. *whistle*

On a serious note. Does a quincy mother can give any benefit to her son? When quincies are teachings and not race. If yes then how? If no then why Aizen sound so dramatic when he said "You're offspring of Shinigami AND"... *dun dun dun*

...

Ehm, why wouldn't a Quincy mother be able to have children that are also strong Quincies? As I've understood it, Shinigami use the power in their swords/their souls while Quincies use their ability to absorb and manipulate the spiritual energy in their surroundings, these rare abilities should be something you're born with.

Sure, you could be taught to do both things but just because you're good at one teaching that doesn't mean you'll be good at the other.

Anyway, another completely different thought just struck me, the world between Soul Society and Hueco Mundo, isn't that the place where Halibel is trapped? Would be interesting if Ichigo found her there before he broke out into Soul Society.

...lol.Ichigo trapped, Chad and Inoue pwned as hell, Urahara probably can't use bankai too, everyone is waiting for Kurosaki-kun in SS.

This looks so damn bad.I can see Ishida coming to battlefield soon though, and Zaraki owning his opponent, but thats all.SS can't do much.

Next chapter is number 500.Will something important happen? i hope so.Like Royal Guards coming to save SS *cough* or Ichigo will hear from someone his mother was Quincy <3.

i hope Urahara shows his bankai already and finish that Quincy

so the Quincies now has got 3 abilities and only the second ability the "blut" has clear description so far

Now It's finally Urahara time to use bankai!!!! Don't forget that Kirge do not have his plate of "slealing bankai" anymore so Urahara can use his bankai.....

Probably, Chad and Orihime will get owned but whatever....

And I'm still waiting for Zaraki.....

Teachings can be transferred with birth just like bloodline powers? Never heard of it before.

Also Shingami abilities can be taught? I mean a normal human can become shingami? Aren't they related to race or bloodline?More like... if both your parents were freakishly tall basketball stars and one of them trained you every day of your life with weird disguised exercises  then you'd probably be good at the sport as well if you put your heart into it...

Ichigo's father trained him with those extreme ambushes and by signing him up for a dojo... and without his teachings, Ichigo wouldn't have discovered the Final Getsuga Tensho. Without Rukia's, Urahara's and Yoruichi's guidance he wouldn't even have known how to fight like a shingami.

Ishida was probably the same, he inherited a strong spirit from his parents adapted for the absorbing of spiritual energy in his surroundings and then he got trained by his grandfather since childhood.

In both cases I do think that both Bloodline and Training plays a part.

You got it wrong. We're not talking about normal training or getting power with training. Ichigo is a shinigami from birth, so he got those all freaking shingami powers and everything, but there is a big mystery regarding his mother. What is she? It doesn't look like she's normal human otherwise that Aizen dialogue will be useless. Also she's not shinigami either because that shouldn't be so special for Aizen to say "you're offspring of shinagami and...". Only possibility will be If she was quincy or hollow/arrancer.

I don't remember where it was mentioned in manga but we have users here in this topic saying "quincy is a fighting style and anyone can learn". If it really is a fighting style. THAT SHOULDN'T BE SPECIAL regarding ichigo's birth. Yes, he can become a great quincy, just like any other person who train well but if it's not race and bloodline powers then it shouldn't help him automatically to get more power up and be a special, where enemy can't stole his bankai.

Oh, that's bullshit! Not only that pointless mook managed to get back on his feet, he also managed to heal his giant hole in the chest completely! I guess that in Urahara's super intelligent analysis he forgot to mention that Quincies have Wolverine's healing factor, but it's more likely that not even Kubo knew that they could do that.
