Bleach Chapter 488 Discussion

Bleach has really messed up power levels, to the point where you simply cannot take it seriously anymore. LOL. For example (at the end of chapter 312, when Kenpachi defeated Nnoitra)



Kenpachi > Nnoitra > Vaizard Bankai Ichigo > Released Grimmjow > Grimmjow > Bankai Ichigo > Shikai Ichigo > Kenpachi



This chapter was interesting, expecting Ichigo to one-shot the quincy captain next week..*sigh*

I swear, Mayuri seems to get uglier and uglier with each arc. He was alright in the beginning but now he's got that sunflower head with a black center and white vertical stripes. Really, Kubo? Really?



Also, Yamamoto looks pretty hyped up about this. Hopefully we'll see some captains hop into the fray too.

I knew the fraccion was going to get fodder-slapped, let's just hope Ichigo handles it better.  I wish Grimmjow could kill that annoying Quincy instead though, it would be the entrance of a great character and the exit of an eyesore.

Kinda annoyed by the fact that not a single one of those over-sized panels were dedicated to the fight between the fraccions and the VR captain. Is there some kind of shocking secret ability being saved for the Ichigo-"fight"?



And I don't think Mayuri is capable of confirming anything, we as readers have seen much more than he has. SS are probably underestimating this enemy... again.

I have a general question, do you think Ichigo still holds the power of a hollow, can he draw out the mask? I also really want to see old man Zangetsu, I missed that when he got his powers back.



He probably can draw his mask but it would serve only for esthetical reason.

Before Ichigo fused his power he had to relie on the mask (And further hollow form) to be able to use his hollow power in addition to his shinigami form (So it looked like a "boost").

Now Ichigo's power is fully united and he got perfect control over it so using a mask would not grant him any boost since he is already using the totality of his power.



Ichigo will destroy this captain so much that it isn't funny. Ichigo is now the strongest known shinigami on SS's side. In addition to that his bankai cannot be sealed. It's still too soon for Aizen to come back. I guess when SS will be in big trouble they will release him (And probably most of the other prisoner).

Welp, I can't say I didn't knew this was going to happen, but what I am glad about is that Nell will be Ichigo's Yachiru! You know you're strong when a little girl is attached to your back!

Ooh boy, Yamamoto is raging hard. And Quincy? So they somehow were able to make Arrancars with Quincy powers?



quincy "power" is a teaching the quincies we knew "were taught" by an old race of "magic hunters". quincies are not s much of a race, as much of  a religion.  Through the years their clan/cult became very proficient in those teachings, but theoretically ANYONE should be able to learn it, however it supposedly takes decades
