Why all the villains must look like Aizen? Meh chapter, not good nor bad. If this arc is starting with the wrong foot my hopes for have a good arc are getting down.

I enjoyed it only because it's not so serious anymore. Chad, Inoue and Ishida stepping in to help, I like it when they fight together, we didn't get to see much of that in the previous arc. Another Aizen villain type person...*sigh* But it seems like he's an Arrancar. I just hope more happens next chapter, but this is only the beginning, they might drag it out.

ORR, he is an enemy and one of royal guards and royal guards consist of bothy quincy, arrancar and shinigami I highly doubt that the royal guard is composed of anything other than soul reapers. Kubo intentionally made the Quincy the polar opposite of soul reapers (white archers vs. black swordsmen). And its an organization based in the soul society so no arrancar would be apart of it either.

Its not based on soul society.

Royal Guards are Soul King's "personal troops" so to say and they, as mentioned in SS arc reside in royal dimension. They were not referred as "shinigami division" or something like that.

We know that quincies got their teachings from an older than shinigami "magic hunters". We also have more than enough symbolism of equalizing quincies with angelic imagery (the final form being angel wings, archery, etc).  We also known that till some point quincies themselves had a standing inside SS.

Now on Soul King, we know that it is a being connected to EVERYTHING and pretty much the literal god of the whole bleachverse. Why would he limit his own troops to Shinigami, especially considering shinigami have been there only for last million year or so and SS as we see it now (re)formed only latter. Namely, Soul King is older than soul society.

With so much build up I would not be surprised is some form of quincy/magichunter teachings have been dominant before shinigami and if  the royal guard has only a handful of shinigami or none at all.

FB arc has highlighted the change in Soul society towards more liberal setting. I would not be surprised on if that provoked the current events.

Mmmmh.

I'm new here, so I didn't read the latest discussion, just this one now to chapter 481.

Anybody ever seriously thought about Aizen coming back? Like he planned all of this?

He had such a good mood when sentenced to thousands of years in jail...

whatever, I like that we finally met some vizards again. After Hiyori got cut into two parts I wasn't even sure if she's still alive, but she seems fine.

But why the hell is a MOUTH appearing in the WALL? awkward.

I think it's time to reveal some secrets. I had SO many questions after the big fight against Aizen and I'm starting to forget about the questions before the answers even come close. (Like what the hell is Isshins story?)

At least we have a good start to get good old bleach back.

Don't disappoint us Kubo.

This!

His outfit looks good(cloak).

It's good to see this little rude girl that have been cut in half(Hiyori).

So... characters appear so far:

- 2 new shinigamis

- vizards

-Ivan azgiaro(arrancar maybe)

So.. it is possible to see Nell or other arrancar.

If it is another trap(like with fullbring) I will be angry.

btw. Is Kurosaki's outfit changed a little? White places?

Ichigo nakama fight, cool :D (Orihime actually fought, not just healed new Shinigami O_O?)

BTW, Ishida fighting without cloak?! I can't believe my eyes :O

And, arrancar or quincy, which will it be... Ivan guy looks stupid, actually @_@

Well, still better than last week :3
