1. It was not mentioned that Ichigo would never get back his powers. It was said that he would slowly lose them until the point where it is completely gone.

2. Kubo still owes us the explanation of this 17 months. Why did Ginjo wait until now? What was Urahara doing in this period of time? What about the shinigamis? Again, insufficient info that is yet to be revealed by Kubo so lets all not jump into conclusions.

3. If this whole Fullbring arc is all about training in your view, then you will never see the point of our argument.

4. Why even bring up the point that Ichigo is weak mentally therefore he sucks and so Bleach sucks? Ichigo is not the almighty hero that saves the day. I think this fullbring arc clearly illustrates this point, esp in the beginning where Ichigo felt absolutely powerless. The thing that he needs to learn is to trust his friends and for his friends to trust in him, something that they (Ichigo, Inoue and Ishida) failed to do so in the beginning of the arc. Ichigo alone cannot save the day. He needs the support of people around him - clearly shown in the Aizen arc.

Let's not be to impulsive and brash, right?. All of you haters reminded me of Ichigo. What an irony!

You could say the same about the defenders who are constantly making excuses.  Hopefully none of us in real life would make the same dumb mistakes as Ichigo.

Well, I dont see how the "defenders" are "constantly making excuses" when it is a fact that there is insufficient evidence to discuss whether or not this entire arc is "pointless" or not, let alone us being "impulsive and brash".

I believe Kubo tried to make Ichigo as real as possible. There are times when no words is good enough to express our thoughts to another person. Or when uneasiness takes over rationality. Ichigo is someone who is kind and always eager to help others, but these kind of people are the ones who would not want to trouble others with their problems. Something that some people see as "weak" and "dumb"

Mangastream called it the "No damaga range", I liked that better... not that it matters, since I'm sure that Ichigo managed to get closer to him than that during the SS finale and Byakuya DID manage to shield himself with the small blades.

No he did not. Anime -adaptation might have had it, but he never used his petals or abilities at that range to himself.  I can't believe I spent 5 minutes looking for this, but this is the exact scene I remembered. http://www.mangareader.net/94-617-10/bleach/chapter-163.html You gotta admit, that does look close.

Kubo Tite is hardly immune to slight inconsistencies, and I usually don't care... but Byakuya has always seemed too godly, he could control a million blades/bullets with his mind (I remember when I thought THAT was overkill, pre-Aizen era, *sigh*), his only weakness was Rukia... but now, suddenly, he has this new weakness... makes me wonder if this was revealed just to add excitement to the story or if Byakuya is gonna become cannon fodder for Tsukishima just to emphasize how much stronger Tsukishima is.

Except that the mystery behind the shinigami badge was ALSO one of plotpoints left to be explored ever since Ichigo got the damn thing. Also this connects to Isshin's past too.

Ginjou did not get the memory alteration. It was the undoing of effect. Which was most likely way way way faster. :)

Which is why I said that Ginjou reverted back to his old self.  When Orihime was 1st cut, she thought of Tsukishima as a friend right after she was attacked.  If Tsukishima can control when his victims are affected by his power, why doesn't he just end the fight as soon as possible and move on to the other opponents?

So far Isshin has little no relevance to the story right now, he's been pushed aside along with Urahara and the other humans.  We don't even know about Ginjou's true motivations, we've been thrust into these Shinigamis vs. Fullbringers fights with little to no explanation as to why.  The Shinigami badge wasn't even much of a mystery, obviously there were other substitutes besides Ichigo, otherwise he wouldn't have gotten a badge in the 1st place.

Psyxwar said:The fuck? Why doesn't Byakuya think Shuu-chan is Hisana or something? Why didn't Tsukishima use his ability like he did on Inoue? I'm confused.

Tsukishima's ability doesn't kick in instantly, skippy.

So soon Byakuya will magically go "OH HEY SHUU-CHAN!"? In the duration of one chapter (468) Tsukishima managed to set the trap so it worked. There didn't seem to be any indication that any time had passed at all, unless of course you're saying that Tsukishima's ability kicks in after a few seconds. Now, it doesn't make any sense that it would kick in later rather than immediately, even less so after a few seconds/ minutes. Considering Tsukishima is affecting the past, why would there by a time delay? It doesn't make any sense, considering that we've already seen him affect the block and set a trap very quickly (not that the concept of his ability made any sense to start off with...)

Well, um...that was an interesting way to end the chapter xD

I love how the Byakuya/Tsukishima fight is going, that was the one fight I wasn't expecting to go wrong for the shinigami (at least not at first).

As for Rukia, I love seeing her squee at the plushies- she's always so serious! - but that's quite a predicament lol, can't wait to see how that turns out

Where is Ichigo's physical body? I hope it won't conveniently be lying on the ground after all of this...
