I don't recall the artefact she has on her finger, is it the first time we see it?

Nodoka got two artifacts inside the Magic World: one let her hear the what was written in the dairy and the other one showed the true name of people. If I'm not wrong, that ring is the later one. If Nodoka manages to successfully get the name of that guy and starts asking question about their plan, that information will be written in her Diarium Ejus currently in Chisame's hands, so Negi will be able to get valuable intel.

On another note, Rakan's awesomeness just can't dissapear even if he dissapears XD. Not only did he appear to cool down Negi and give the cliche speech about last hope, which sound awesome because HE is making it, but also burned Fake Asuna's cover.

Ah thanks, well it make sense but it won't help Nodoka in her current state.

Negi is pretty much drained now and he just went all out on Fate so Nodoka is screwed up unless she manage to escape or someone come to help her.

I hope that Nodoka will indeed get the more information she can at the cost of her life, a lot of people die but nobody from Negi's class did and I think that some will have to die someday to put more drama in it. Nodoka seem a good choice, she will have fullfiled her purpose in the story, giving Negi the information about the truth of the world and even some key information on Fate's goal, an honorable death imo.

But then again, nobody die in Negima, I'm pretty much sure we will get a happy ending where Negi will recreate all the dead illusion and everyone will live happyly everafter -.-.

What, they didn't realised, they were told.

It was impossible for Negi's group to realise it in any way.

I meant to say, or should of said found out.

I kind of feel like that was a cheap deus-ex-machina compared to what Akamatsu had previously set up; earlier on, he threw in the plot hook that her disguise would be broken if she fell in love with Negi, with hints that it was already happening. Thus, at the right moment that would happen, she would spill the beans, and they'd be off to rescue Asuna while acquiring another possible ally.

OMG I loled so hard when he came back xD. His awesomeness surpasses even death itself!

And Chisame is currently the one closest to Negi? Didn't expect that. But still, I'm glad it was Chisame. =3

Yeah I've been hoping for either NodokaxNegi or ChisamexNegi couple.

As for Nodoka, always amazes me when she does that. Oh and I'm wondering if her artifact will work at such a long distance. If it does then her hair pin "should" carry back the info written in the book to her and thus mind read on the spot!

Wait if everyone is in fact illusions does that mean Negi is an illusion as well?  I guess to know this we would need to know at what time was the illusion created, but still that would suck sense they could just erase him lol.

They finally found out that Asuna is a fake but I wonder how things will turn out now?

And at the end, I wonder what Nodoka will do? O.O

Hum I do not think so.

Nagi come from the old world and Arika being nobility in the magical world probably mean that she's a real human as well like most if not all the higher up people  The reason I think that Arika is an human is because Asuna is one and she comes from the same lineage as Arika.

Rakan on the opposite was a slave of the magical world at first and got his respectable 'position' with year of hard work, at first he was at the bottom of the society so an illusion.

Also Rakan said that only Negi group can stop Fate now so that means that from what Rakan's said that he is human.

Aw. Seems like Chisame actually warmed up to the big guy. A strange duo.

This chapter, if I can trust the translation, has revised my theories about the series majorly, mostly about the nature of Mundus Magicus. Just a tiny bit of what Rakan says on page 10... It would make things make just a bit more sense.

EDIT: Kudos on your pic, ShiraKiryuu. ;D

Hm, a lot of that that Lifemaker wizard said intrigued me. However, I don't think what he said meant the world they are in is fake, as Rakan said.

"Other side", in this sense, means death. That means that every side character, and Rakan, that we have seen has actually died. They aren't necessarily an illusion, nor are they human. What I gather then is that the Code of The Lifemaker is a spell that only works on that particular cross-bred species.

In other words, it doesn't work on those of pure blood, demon or human, but only on these half alien people.

...That's what I've deduced anyway. After all, Rakan was taken to a truly fake place already. If illusions were natural to that world, I don't think it would have surprised him as much as it did a handful of chapters ago.

Anyway I take back my theorie where the magical world's inhabitant are magical being. I readed again the Negi vs Rakan fight and when Negi used Asuna's artefact, Rakan had no problem touching it, neither Shadow dude died when he was stabed with it by Koutaro.
