These are the most basic scenarios:

a) All Illusions are restored, with all illusions fully retaining their memories (Good End)

b) All Illusions are restored, but they don't retain the memories of meeting Negi and co. (Neutral/good end)

c) All Illusions stay erased. (Neutral/sad end)

More likely he disappeared. If he would've been defeated in some other way it would have been something different but this is too much of a cliche



I wonder if this magical world is an illusion or not (there have been some things hinting that)

considering no one has actually "died" in this manga, I'm gathering that we will see everyone that's disappeared in the last 3 chapters right on the very end like the chao arc....Jack Rakan die? come on, this is a kids manga rated pg

This chapter just screams cliche but at least it's well drawn =/ there goes Rakan ...

Rakan!! Why did you disappear... Damn, do those people who disappeared really died or just temporarily disappeared?



Anyway, Fate, you're one badass dude XD

It's cliche, but it works. It was a thrill to read that chapter, and I'm not usually someone to be particularily touched by fiction. Still, it's hard to see a god-like, UBER MANLY character like Rakan getting killed. Defeated? Sure, why not. But actually dying is a whole different story.

I'm really starting to hate nihlist, overpowered villans like Fate (or Bleach's Aizen) as of late. It must be the way how not even the most powerful attacks affect them, or maybe the frustration of them not revealing their objectives. Or even more likely, the way the authors of that sort of character just keep bailing them out whenever a hero seems to get an upper hand, so they can stretch out the series some more. I hope, though, that Akamatsu isn't that type.
