For a chapter that's released once every three months, there's not much information...

Oh well, the art is beyond beautiful tho! Link being loyal to the 14th does explain some of the stuff he did when Allen was still... Allen. It's making it more depressing to know the good things he did for Allen were only because he's the 14th. And here I was hoping Link would be another potential ally for Allen after Kanda and Johnny.

This manga is so damn sad and depressing. I mean, so few characters genuinely care about Allen and appreciate him as Allen, not the 14th or the blahblahDestroyer of Timeblahblah... Does Allen even exist? Here's me hoping, really, really hoping Sensei won't pull a Pandora Hearts route...

If Allen did not have innosence before 14th became part of it, how and why did he get one? Shouldn't that be kinda impossible since he was already host of Noah and Noah?

The entire Mana turning into akuma situation? Even if Allen's memories were changed, that does not explain how he got his cursed eye?

The way I see it, "Allen" might have been someone Nea knew and looked up to. Looked up well enough to take on his identity to escape his own.

I'm so happy there's finally another chapter! It's great to see Link again. I wonder what'll happen now that he's working with Nea...I especially loved how he could see through Nea pretending to be Allen.

Still confused af, but Nea is officially awesome, lmao.

I'd argue that Allen isn't dead:

His current transformation into the 14th wasn't due to him killing anyone.

He meant Allen killing Mana.

It's not the original text, but Cross does say "you will," so that leads me to believe it hasn't happened yet. In fact, the whole sentence seems to be talking about the future?

Neah's end goal is killing the Millennium Earl, Allen turning into 14th would mean killing Mana, the person he loves most, with his own hands.

I agree that is a very possible ending. I might be misunderstanding you, but my point was, to the people who are worried about Neah taking over already, that Allen would most likely come back in a few chapters at most.

Also, I might be remembering incorrectly, but isn't Neah's goal to kill the Millennium Earl due to the fact that he wanted to become the "new" Millennium Earl? So it's looking like Allen would become the Millennium Earl?

Kanda was the worst person to send after Allen. He fucked up hard and Johnny is fucking worthless

Kanda is one of only few people who have been proven to be on Allen's side AND has no ties to the order or people in order that would suffer if things were to go wrong.

He's also the reason why the 14th woke up even more need I remind you

Won't that makes it an even better reason for the author to redeem him by going after Allen?

Not when he's just as likely to MAKE IT WORSE.

By that argument, he's just as likely to make it better, too.

He's even being promoted to general, now Allen's got a powerful ally in both physical strength and someone to vouch for him in the Black Order.

Don't even get me started about that bullshit plotkai promotion. TO think his pasty ass is replacing Cross makes my blood boil.

I couldn't be more disappointed in Link. He really is nothing but Leverrier's loyal lapdog to so quickly offer up his services to the 14th =_=

But at last, he can NOW show  he wishes for Allen to win which can be seen as Link starting to have feelings of his own. Maybe in the long run, we might see him disagreeing wih Leverrier and siding with Allen.

Even through is taking WAY TOO LONG for this arc to end and i wished for everyone to be reunited again, i don´t think Katsura-sensei is going back to weekly or even monthly releases.

I prefer the trimestral release type. This way the burden in her is lighter, and we don´t have to fear another long hiatus, or worse.Being a magaka is REALLY time counsuming, and there are cases like Naoki Urasawa (the weight of his body deslocated his shoulder and deformed his skeleton).

How does him welcoming the 14th like that show him he wishes for Allen to come back? So far he's being nothing but a loyal mechanical lapdog.

At least he´s having doubts about the 14th loyal dog mission =D. It´s a start. Just because he still do what he´s told, doesn´t  means he doesn´t care for Allen.

I wish I could be optimistic as you but this chapter has showed him regress back to his old state of Leverrier is right. Do as he says no matter what. Even if that ends up making you lose your family in the process cause experimenting with Earl tech IS A REAL GOOD IDEA GUYS.
