D.Gray-man Chapter 209 Discussion

I'm pretty annoyed that the chapter was so short.  I know that it's difficult for her with her hand injury, but I agree, if she has a hard time, she should get a partnership going.  I don't like the turn that the art style has taken.  I really like the Timmy-arc art style... it was SO beautiful!  There are some chapters that are worth the wait, but this one was obviously a transition chapter from one point to the next so I'm kinda disappointed in it.  I hope her hand gets better soon, 'cause I miss the fullness her old chapters brought to the story!  星野先生、がんばってね！

This short chapter just reminded my of how much better this series was weekly. The longer chapters really tend to... not drag exactly, but it often feels like they lack focus.

For such a short chapter they really didn't need to focus on Johnny quite so much surely.

It was obvious that Kanda and Allen were going to team up together as soon as Allen left the order but I was suprised about Johnny and I love the way Kanda and Johnny teamed up to find him didn't expect that.



And I noticed a lot of people complaining because it was too short but I have to agree with some earlier posts that short and of high quality is better than long and low quality, then again I will just be happy as long as the series is never canceled :)



Can't wait for more!

so yeah, just read the new chapter.. (well, looked at a Chinese one..)

quite the nice, easy-going chapter. I enjoyed it after a very long time.

It does seem that DGM returns to it's old, cheery, funny and unique flavour :)

so Kanda and Johnny found Allen! lol I knew that would happen, I could judt feel it. now that Allen has exposed himself it will be so much more interesting- his interaction with Johnny and KANDA! can't wait to see it.

it's sad, no one cares about him, neither Hoshino does.

15 pages come on that is even below weekly standarts^^ Hoshino really dropped in quality since grayman went monthly and moved to sq.

I'm guessing Kanda's going to hunt down Allen because he feels indebted to him. And I have a feeling he's going to find Allen half-dead.

"Allen fucking Walker! If you die on me, I swear I'll kill you!" seems like a Kanda type of thing to say.
