Fullmetal Alchemist Chapter 90 Discussion

Wow Al and Ed are in a pinch.  It seems that it won't go over 20 but 10 seems a little too quick.

Ahhh this part of the story screams final arc everywhere! So intense, I love this series.

This was a pretty intense chapter. Olivia is kind of amazing, and Edward was hilarious with his "save me from Scar!" nonsense. :D

Olivia is awesomeness, especially how she's still really pissed at Mustang for pretty much existing, even while she's helping his cause. Oh, man, if he gets to rule the country she's going to be mad...



I'm with you kennikitty, Ed may do some stupid and reckless things, but he can't make Winry cry by going and getting himself dead! So there! (I love him though, really I do :P)

Hohenheim: "You're terrible". - yeah, that pretty much covers Ed -_-



Al admitted it himself, he's too much of a softy, he couldn't bring himself to keep his guard up around Selim, even though he told himself he should be. But I have a feeling Al will get out of this one more or less on his own. I hope so, anyway.



The alchemical zombie soldiers are FREAKY! Points to Arakawa-sensei on creepiness.



So, where's Mei/May got to? It'd be just like Envy to raise his ugly head again at the worst possible moment...

I love that it might be ending in 10 chapters - That means that it will get super epic, everyone will die, and we'll get some closure. I find it a lot better if manga has an ending... that means it has actual plot :D.



Anyways... zombies and FMA? equals insta-win. I am really loving this manga.

It's just that when the author doesn't know what to do in the end he kills the most of his characters. I belive Arakawa can make a super-epic ending without killing half of the main characters in the series.

Anyway chapter 90 is still epic.

Fan speculation or not: we're pretty close to the end and that's great, because I prefer an epic final conclusion over a few hundred filler chapers.

This chapter was pretty cool. I love Olvia, she kicks asses! She has to survive this whole thing. And so does Ed. I really am worried that he might die and it makes me feel sad, because he's such an incredible character with so much development. Plus: Winry's waiting for him, he can't just die and leave her all alone. >_<

Nevertheless his methods are... special. XD I'll never get tired seeing his unconventional way of solving problems. XD



I don't like that Al is being a hostage again. I mean: he's been rushing from being a hostage to being rescued to being a hostage again. You might get the feeling he can't even protect himself without his brother around, but that's not true. Al is strong too, but he's just too kind... v_v' Ed would've beaten the crap out of Selim after 2 minutes of banging on that helmet. XD And he might've noticed that he's not just playing but using a morse code.
