That was sad. Got killed by Envy in the form of his wife at the end like that. Anyways I'm surprised he didn't instead just alarm the whole base, since probably not all of them were evil (I doubt many, if any, were, but logically it wouldn't make sense for a large number of them to be), not sure that the lady would attack in the middle of all that since they want to avoid attention right now. Oh well.

I assume that he didn't want to involve too many others since they most likely would have been targeted as well. Interestingly, he reconsidered to inform Bradley. That could mean that military lines are not secure and/or that he thinks Bradley is not to be trusted.



Really emotional chapter and the next one probably won't be better with everyone's reactions.

I was not ready to experience this pain again. This was so well done, I have to think about it but I might prefer this scene in the manga to the anime.



Something about reading this manga is so cathartic, every panel just exudes masterpiece even if they're objectively not as great as things like Berserk. It really feels like I'm reading a top 1 series.

Man, back when I first saw the anime I didn't think about things much really; but it's pretty crazy how much he was able to figure out, not being an alchemist and all! Even not trusting the President either, wew~

Anyway, that whole thing about Al believing he was artificially created kinda bugged me x'D why would so many people lie to him, and what about those childhood photos?? felt a bit like a stretch;;
