Fullmetal Alchemist Chapter 15 Discussion

Yeah, it kind of caught me off guard how early this was.

So sad... R.I.P Hughes

There are a number of emotional moments in FMA that make me cry no matter how many times I read the manga or watch the anime. And Hughes' death is the one that's at the top of my list when it comes to the tears of sorrow

Hughes.... Sad chapter finish, left a bitter taste

AGH. I get so worked up over this scene. ;____;

Rest in peace. Tbh manga does not affect me as much as the Anime, the Anime is more hard hitting.

I like how it was done. Most people wouldn't actually have time to leave such things intentionally in a situation where a killer came so suddenly, as would be efficient and logical of the assassin. It was amazing enough that he got away from Lust and almost got  a call through to Mustang.



And I believe it does happen later in the anime. 15 chapters would be around episode 8 in the adaptation of a monthly serialized manga, but the anime had a lot of things changed or added in.

Damn not Hughes. Even after knowing what's gonna come, my throat's still dry.

Hughes!!!!



That was sad. Got killed by Envy in the form of his wife at the end like that. Anyways I'm surprised he didn't instead just alarm the whole base, since probably not all of them were evil (I doubt many, if any, were, but logically it wouldn't make sense for a large number of them to be), not sure that the lady would attack in the middle of all that since they want to avoid attention right now. Oh well.

Yeah, I keep hearing people talk about it in the anime, but they always made it sound like it was later.


The death of Major Hughes.

Personally I didn't like how it happened.  It would have better if he left some clues and/or notes to what he found out.

Maaaaaaes! ;_; I thought this was going to happen in the later chapters.
