As far as balance between visual and textual storytelling goes, yeah it definitely is better for me.

nen beasts acting of their own will, feeding off the power of their hosts. this should be a truly terrifying arc.

Yeesh... those Nen beasts are all so gnarly-looking. Tserriednich's beast, in particular, is the kind of thing nightmares are made of. 0_0
