i have a question. Normal hunters (with extream physical strength) take years to master nen then how can a normal prince master it during the trip? even if they take shortcut like gon and killua still have to spend months to be able to control nen the right way, not to mention their talent

well they don't need to master nen , cuz they already having strong ability ( nen beasts ) all they need the ability to communicate with the nen beasts and for that they have to learn only basic nen

It was also interesting to find out the conditions that have been set for all of them- the beasts can't attack each other, nor can they directly attack a Prince whom another nen beast is guarding.

Ftfy. Could make a huge difference in HxH

It definitely could- all we need is Momoze's "Are ya free" nen beast to control someone else (another bodyguard or passenger) and all hell could break loose. That's one loophole in the conditions anyway...I'm sure there are more.

God knows what abilities the other nen beasts have.

How the princes never knew about nen in the first place is stupid, so much power and influence yet they're unaware.

Lots of Level E vibes in this chapter, forgot that Togashi can whip up some genuinely creepy shit when he wants to. Loving how detailed and diverse every Nen Beast is. Also thought it was pretty neat how well he was able to humanize Theta in just a few pages of dialogue. Hopefully she isn't the first victim when Prince Bateman wants to try out his new skills.

Someone needs to tell Togashi that's he's writing a manga, not a novel smh. Way too many speech bubbles.

Mangastream bloats the text way more than what's actually presented. The Viz translations are a lot more direct.

Those nen beasts are gonna give me nightmares for weeks. They're terrifying!! Which deep, dark recesses of his mind did Togashi drag them out from? They're like Stands + extinct animals + Alien vs. Predator + Parasyte lol

Ofc Tserriednich has the most terrifying one- the thing basically had the human centipede in its mouth, and I am not surprised it has a lady's face...he seems to enjoy murdering women so, yeah.

I feel sorry for his bodyguards tbh, especially Theta since she's gonna hafta teach Tsurried nen, knowing he's a crazy, murderous psycho. Those last few panels gave me chills.

On another note, I laughed at Izunabi saying the Prince's nen beast looked like fairies when its just some gross suction looking thing pouring out ugly insects XD

Anyway, this chapter was a game changer with the Princes slowly finding out about their nen beasts and some becoming curious about nen. It was also interesting to find out the conditions that have been set for all of them- the beasts can't attack each other, nor can they attack a Prince whom another nen beast is guarding.

Although I'm wondering if that second rule still applies when a beast isn't with its host (as in the previous chapter where they all went to scope out Woble & co.)??

The King seems to want his kids to fight head-to-head, with the nen beasts being something akin to a guard or retainer to aid them with everyone else who isn't a prince just acting as fodder. Kinda screwed up, really.

Also, Tsurreid...Hisoka called...he wants his hairstyle back rofl
