Shits getting real now with Kurapika pulling a gun on these guys. I wonder if anyone will still be dumb enough to lie with a gun pointed at them, that just adds extra pressure to tell the truth since the incentive is staying alive. I feel like the ominous feeling Kurapika got from the baby in the previous chapter may be playing a role in killing these guards.

He's using it to threaten the guards with no nen and make sure they won't lie. It would have been stupid for Kurapika to threaten them using nen when the guards supposedly don't even know what it is.Yes, I didn't say is stupid. Ponzu? Chimera Ants? Kurapika dodging bullets?Ah right Ponzu, forgot about her. Kurapika did use his chains to even block bullets if I remember correctly. Apart for Ponzu, I think guns never had significant impact.





Perspective. In HxH, power isn't absolute.



Bazooka - Uvogin unscathed

Smaller bomb - Hisoka gets obliterated regardless of his nen cover. One of the best fighters, can't easily block off explosions like Uvogin.



So yeah, Uvogin is a special case for tanking things. Otherwise Guns and modern weaponry have a very significant impact.



Remember the Troupe almost shit their pants when Pakunoda pointed the gun at them.However Pakunoda's gun used nen so it might've been dangerous even for Uvogin. Panzu on the other hand had just started learning nen like gon and killua and I suppose she wasn't so much talented so her nen was even weaker.

Regarding Hisoka are you talking about the fight versus Chrollo? Weren't those nen bombs?
