I like it how people despise plot armor but cry on the spot if their favorite character dies. (even if that character is really useless on the story plot wise)



I don't understand why people don't get it. The manga will end immediately OR will be downright dull if it didn't have two or more plot armors in it.

Why he wasn't brain death could have been explained easily. Gon can hold his breath for 9 minutes, Morel even 15 minutes. If they said in this chapter that Hisoka wasn't truly dead but only appeared dead, combined with the zombie bodies protecting him as a shield could have explained this ''back from the dead'' nonsense. But he confirmed that he DIED!! It's utter bullshit that nen can bring people back from the dead.



It would have been okay if he was a mindless zombie set on killing Chrollo. Instead he is himself and he is strong enough to kill 2 troupe members in one second lol

hisoka heart work because of his nen, so he already dead , if his nen stop then his heart will stop, so logically he have body without Soul , it's only his nen desire + his brain program works automatic

If so, Who will win? (I think it's obvious should they meet again Hisoka will win but I want to hear your logic)



I also noticed people complaining about Shalnark and Kortopi dying without a fight. I know they had some nen missing but maybe it was Togashi's way of showing us how much stronger Hisoka has gotten after his revival. Or at least how  strong his assassination skills are against the spiders. If they didn't put up a decent fight it's probably cause there wasn't one. They were completely overpowered. But that's my opinion !

I guess I didn't see this as much of an asspull because 1) we know about Nen after death and 2) there was a precedent: Gon and his fight with Pitou. Didn't Hisoka just basically do the same thing Gon did? As in, he made a huge, last-resort contract with his Nen. At the same time, like other people in this thread have said, how come there was no sacrifice? Hisoka seems just fine(well, except for his missing limbs, now covered up); hell, Hisoka looks even stronger now. I'm surprised there was no consequence to his actions, like with Gon.



All that being said, unpredictable outcome to the battle, as to be expected of Togashi. And Hisoka is so savage he managed to take out two Spiders right after coming back to life. Crazy shit. RIP Shalnark and Kortopi. We barely even knew anything about Kortopi. lol

Shalnark may have been able to put up more of a fight had Chrollo not taken his ability, but it is what it is.



And just like that, Togashi connects this otherwise out-of-nowhere fight to the Dark Continent arc, since the troupe(or what's left of them) is heading to the ship. This arc is going to be insane. And now that Hisoka is targeting the troupe one-by-one, I can see this pissing off Kurapika, since Kurapika's revenge is basically his reason for living. But hey, maybe they'll team up.

I'm going to be sad if Hisoka kills Shizuku. She's too cute to die... :(



Anyway, Chrollo won the battle, but it looks like Hisoka will win the war.

Hisoka on a hunt right now, idk if machi is alive or dead. Cause I really liked her but but any way Hisoka won't be dying he is a major antagonist after all. I can't wait for a chrollo vs Hisoka rematch.

They won't know  it before they're dead. I don't think Shalnark messaged Chrollo before jumping on Hisoka and even if they do Hisoka is a special snowflake that has access to post mortem Nen and they don't apparently.

Uhh, Machi?? I'm pretty sure she can contact Chrollo after she breaks out of Bungee Gum prison.

The spiders would probably be all dead before she can contact anyone, jk I forgot about her

Hisoka still has the element of surprise in this, he can strike at any given time.

I don't think it was a "lung massage", his Nen simply pumped air into his lungs as a means of artificial ventilation. Bungee Gum is a perfect power for this kind of stuff, considering it can stick to anything and contract and all that.



But that still brings us back to the whole "time frame" window in which that was made. Like I said above at any point where bungee gum even massaged his heart and pumped air into his lungs the brain would be long dead.
