My guess for the explosion is that Chrollo affixed moon to Hisoka's hand at some point. And then had the copies marked with sun. So when he touched the head is exploded on contact.



For the person he is controlling, is it a nen user? There should be a whole lot of people watching that can use nen and are skilled at it. Why would just "normal" people be watching two from the elite, fight it out at heaven's arena?





The ones being controlled by Black Voice however... could. So it could be 3 Nen users against Hisoka (including Chrollo)



Now, the seal was on the head probably, not on Hisoka's hand.



Now, we're not sure if the Order Stamp is still there simply because of the Sun and Moon effect, or because Chrollo's still got the book open on that page, or had it book marked, if it's the former, then Chrollo has 5 simultaneous Bandit Skill abilities (Sun and Moon, Gallery Fake and Stamp combo, basically Explosive Nen-Made Puppet) and two more, which would be Black Voice and some other one (doubt it's Exchange since we see Chrollo in his normal attire (I think)



Yes, I'm talking about the person he's talking to using Black Voice. It _should_ be a nen user, otherwise it's just weird if no one watching can use nen and that he doesn't take that as an advantage. But if he does the match will be really uneven.





That's what I think happened. The target needs to have the seals touching each other for three seconds-five seconds (the head can't do it alone). The weaker version explodes as soon as the seals touch each other. And Hisoka held on the head for a few seconds (?),  so it makes more sense that he has either plus or minus on his hand and the head had the other one. Well it's hard to tell if he grabbed a new head, but same logic applies. He has -, touches head that has +, boom.



Hisoka may have a contract that makes him way stronger from lethal damage. So would be sweet to see the next chapter.

I just signed up to write this , because no one is addressing the theory that another troupe member is involved in the fight , specifically shalnark and/or korutopi because :

1-troupe knows that hisoka can be strong enough to kill chorollo

2-we know for a fact that chorollo doesnt fight fair and fights defensively

3-troupe love and care about eachother

4-CHOROLLO WOULDNT STEAL A TROUPE MEMBERS ABILITY



Now we see chorollo holding the phone and giving comands but couldnt that be a trick ? we know chorollo wouldnt mind fighting like this also yes i am aware of gallery fake but that also can be a trick cuz we never witness him using it the clones just come out of nowhere , and even if we did see him use it an i missed it he couldve used convert hands to make korutopi look like him and shalnark to look like someone else and use the REAL phone from a far as we saw in the end .



my theory is , there might be one or more troupe members involved in the fight and knowing all these abilities i wouldnt rule out if the only troupe member not involved is chorollo himself ! (thats stretching it but it would be quite the plot twist)



this is why i love togashi , this fight is so vague and complex (especially the introduction) that literally anything can happen.



as for my thoughts about the end results , i highly doubt that hisoka will die , unless togashi is trying to make the fans hate the series so he can go on another hiatus peacefully.



Also in not TOO worried about hisokas hand , you never know it might be a chance for him to get a cool metal arm or something lmao , im definitely happy about it because i feel really optimistic because as some mentioned it might be a reason for him to go to DC or it might cause a positive change of character or end up making him stronger and more badass (for example :cool metal arm mentioned earlier).

when i first saw the troupe members abilities being used by chorollo i knew something didnt add up and i thought it was obvious to everyone and i came here to read your thoughts and was disappointed by everyone ignoring it so i had to write this long ass submission i hope it isnt too long to post dang that would suck

I mean, I get that keragamming, but Yorknew does have the scene where that guy teaches Gon and Killua about praising stuff at an auction and that is honestly one of the least interesting parts I can think of. Really, HxH has been talky for quite a while, that's just how it is. I'll admit that some of it does bother me at times, this wasn't one of those times though.

Not really, the um, "questionable fans" (politically correct term) would name all three different outcomes at the same time. A cheap guess that doesn't land anywhere.



You say pretty sure no one is gonna die, there are 1000 possibilities for that happening, so try to be less vague about this interruption. Last time we got an "interruption" it was Alluka, a foreshadowed character that sprouted an arc of its own, hinted at the next one, and resulted in at least 2 major deaths instead.



1. Both agreed on a death match, so interruption would mean a third character or maybe a troupe, which in its own a mystery and a thrill if it ever happens.

2. Hisoka' or Chrollo dying would literally break the internet, or at least the manganime world of it.
