A chapter where nothing changes...again...

Let me guess Hsioka will have a miraculous power saving him and will be at advantage , after that chrollo pulls up a trick and again and again until togashi makes content for at least 2-3 volumes.

Goes to work,  leave work and goes to evening class, leave class and goes home See new hxh update. Click on the first page and see a huge wall of text.-_- I didn't even bother reading this chapter until now, that's not what anyone is looking forward to after having a rough day.I honestly believe that Togashi lacks the skills to "show" instead of always telling/explaining things to the audience. A lot of unneeded dialogue which water down the series quality imo.  But there is a lot of hxh fans that think more dialogue even if unnecessary means the better the quality. Which isn't the case. Quality >>>> quantity.



Literally like 95% talking and 5% action and his mediocre artstyle doesn't help those rare few action scene panels. I also have to drop the score from a 7 to a 6, definitely not deserving of a 7 at this moment.  These unnecessary dialogue would not hurt so much if it was the anime. Nothing happen the chapter, just like the last few weeks,  please someone interupt this boring fight.



Imo phantom troupe arc is where Togashi executed his writing perfectly. That arc is truly one of my all time favorite arcs in anime. So I'm no hater here,  Just prefer his phantom troupe arc writing style. That arc was a "thriller" to watch.



Anyways 2/5 for this chapter.

Man, this shit just wont be over already. Everyone knows that Hisoka is going to win or the fight is going to get interrupted so in the end all of these are going to be a waste of time... meh.



Great idea to have a volume of Hisoka vs Chrollo...

I still don't think Hisoka is going to die here. Not convinced. >_>

Now we see chorollo holding the phone and giving comands but couldnt that be a trick ? we know chorollo wouldnt mind fighting like this also yes i am aware of gallery fake but that also can be a trick cuz we never witness him using it the clones just come out of nowhere , and even if we did see him use it an i missed it he couldve used convert hands to make korutopi look like him and shalnark to look like someone else and use the REAL phone from a far as we saw in the end .



my theory is , there might be one or more troupe members involved in the fight and knowing all these abilities i wouldnt rule out if the only troupe member not involved is chorollo himself ! (thats stretching it but it would be quite the plot twist)



this is why i love togashi , this fight is so vague and complex (especially the introduction) that literally anything can happen.



as for my thoughts about the end results , i highly doubt that hisoka will die , unless togashi is trying to make the fans hate the series so he can go on another hiatus peacefully.



Also in not TOO worried about hisokas hand , you never know it might be a chance for him to get a cool metal arm or something lmao , im definitely happy about it because i feel really optimistic because as some mentioned it might be a reason for him to go to DC or it might cause a positive change of character or end up making him stronger and more badass (for example :cool metal arm mentioned earlier).

when i first saw the troupe members abilities being used by chorollo i knew something didnt add up and i thought it was obvious to everyone and i came here to read your thoughts and was disappointed by everyone ignoring it so i had to write this long ass submission i hope it isnt too long to post dang that would suck



I wanted to respectfully address a few points you made.



1. Fighting fair - What a person would define as "fair" is subjective. Chrollo is intelligent and is using the environment to his advantage. HxH is not about fights where pure strength decides the winner. Chrollo explains in the beginning of the fight that gaining an advantage can be done in many ways such as choosing the location to fight, hiding your abilities, etc. Kurapika vs Uvo is a good example. Uvo appears to be much stronger, physically, than Kurapika even though Kurapika has mastered Enhancer abilities. Kurapika tricked Uvo by letting him see his chains but hiding the chain for Chain Jail with In. Rather sneaky, but totally "fair" in the world of HxH.



2. Chrollo DID use Kortopi's Gallery Fake at the beginning of this fight on the referee. He also used several other abilities right after that using his book and bookmark so it wasn't a fake Chrollo or copy.



3. Chrollo probably didn't steal the Phantom Troupe's abilities. Chrollo may have a way to return an ability so it's possible that they let him borrow their abilities for this fight.



we know that once he stole an ability the original owner can no longer use it , this was explained in the yorknew city arc , also i didnt mean that by "fighting fair" hisoka for example wants to fight chrollo for the sake of .. fighting chrollo , chrollo on the other hand may have other intentions in mind like staling his bungee gum thats why it wouldnt be a surprise if he let other troupe membrs in on the fight



We do not know thought that he can't return that ability back. Maybe he can.

Also Hisoka was part of the spiders for some time so he knows about their connections etc every bit as much as us and more.

So everything you may think about the spiders, Hisoka already has accounted for.
