Hunter x Hunter Chapter 355 Discussion

Okay, this chapter was awesome. Hisoka making those facial expressions that I don't remember ever making before. Combining all those puppets with his Bungee Gum and making himself a human hammer. Then at the end of the chapter, Chrollo issued a command and Hisoka's hand suddenly exploded, losing his fingers. It came from the puppet head he was holding. I guess this is why the chapter is called "Explosion".

To be honest, the fight is starting to feel a bit dragged. I'm pretty sure neither is going to die and the fight will end up getting interrupted when one of them is about to die.

Have you been reading HxH? He won with 0 hands against Kastro, I'm pretty sure every inch of that stadium has about 3 hidden bungie strings attached for every one  of Chrollo's puppets.



If Hisoka were to win, my guess would be a massive sequence of contract and release among the puppets and back and forth from the walls and floor of the stadium, basically a game of Pool where everyone smashes into everyone else, and Chrollo in the process.



Or he can attach a bungie gum onto himself and Chrollo (They did touch during the exchange of punches, and he could have used In to hide it), and then launch himself at Chrollo, and catches him. That, would be super cool.

My guess for the explosion is that Chrollo affixed moon to Hisoka's hand at some point. And then had the copies marked with sun. So when he touched the head is exploded on contact.



For the person he is controlling, is it a nen user? There should be a whole lot of people watching that can use nen and are skilled at it. Why would just "normal" people be watching two from the elite, fight it out at heaven's arena?





The ones being controlled by Black Voice however... could. So it could be 3 Nen users against Hisoka (including Chrollo)



Now, the seal was on the head probably, not on Hisoka's hand.



Now, we're not sure if the Order Stamp is still there simply because of the Sun and Moon effect, or because Chrollo's still got the book open on that page, or had it book marked, if it's the former, then Chrollo has 5 simultaneous Bandit Skill abilities (Sun and Moon, Gallery Fake and Stamp combo, basically Explosive Nen-Made Puppet) and two more, which would be Black Voice and some other one (doubt it's Exchange since we see Chrollo in his normal attire (I think)



Yes, I'm talking about the person he's talking to using Black Voice. It _should_ be a nen user, otherwise it's just weird if no one watching can use nen and that he doesn't take that as an advantage. But if he does the match will be really uneven.





That's what I think happened. The target needs to have the seals touching each other for three seconds-five seconds (the head can't do it alone). The weaker version explodes as soon as the seals touch each other. And Hisoka held on the head for a few seconds (?),  so it makes more sense that he has either plus or minus on his hand and the head had the other one. Well it's hard to tell if he grabbed a new head, but same logic applies. He has -, touches head that has +, boom.



Hisoka may have a contract that makes him way stronger from lethal damage. So would be sweet to see the next chapter.



I have a different explanation though. We already know that he was holding a puppet's head. and it's connected to main body through nen. So he used Black voice to control somebody with sun and moon symbol, then touch the other symbol on the main body so that the head explodes the moment hisoka is holding it.

No right now it looks like chrollo is winning. He was just looking at hisoka struggle from the audience before blowing up hisoka's fingers. Hisoka didn't even touch chrollo this chapter.

Just wondering. I am not convinced Chrollo is tronger. If this was a fight 1vs1, with no crowd what hould have happened? Chrollo woulh have nowhere to hide. He could easily be anihilated
