I feel like we won't see any of the four 4 main characters in this arc, at least not in the beginning. I'm also excited to see what Ging has planned.

Yeah but it was 100 hunter organisation airship. So it is supposed to be a property of the hunter organisation. But I guess since it wasn't recorded on the book the vice chairman (Pariston at the time) was one of the only one who knew about this. So maybe he silenced all the people who knew about it with threat and money and he left the organisation with them.

Pariston scheme was to send the v5 organization or the hunter's organization into the dark continent and a lot of would die, so Ging came and said stop fooling around with people's lives and send in the 5000 chimeras to check the dark continent first instead of sacrificing people.

Yeah, I got the same thing when i was reading mangastream's translation. He doesn't want the association to be Pariston's plaything. I really don't get along with mangapanda's translation.



I guess this is what we have to deal with though when translating that much text xD

Weird. That's one reason why I thought the latest AoT arc was so great. The poli intrigue is even better there doe in fairness the translation for this HxH arc isn't that good.



Yea, I'm not saying the arc is bad, I'm just saying I'm not a big fan of politics intrigue stuff.



I'm enjoying the current arc in attack on titan, I just don't want to deal with any more politics intrigue right now from any other manga series.

I was just surprised when I went to the AoT forum and saw a lot of people not liking the uprising arc because of the politics. So since you're a big AoT fan I expected you to like the political side of that arc and this arc in HxH but it turns out you're not a big fan of the poli in both series. So yea, double shock for me right there. I can't believe there are people who dont like the uprising arc and I cant believe you arent a sucker for poli intrigue.



The arc isn't over, but so far it's a 7/10. This is the lowest I've ever given a attack on titan arc, but we still have five more chapters to go.

An entire long arc with the potantial to be the best so far and no main character having a role, do it Togashi!

Where exactly are Pariston and Ging again? Such a weird place... 

If there's any mangaka that has the balls to make the main characters absent from one whole arc, it's Togashi.



Even though I would be glad to see their whereabouts, it wouldn't make a difference having the main MC's missing.

About the chimera thing, going by the current translations Ging said "send in 5000 chimera's" after he said what Pariston's two choice plan was not that the chimera's were apart of it, but I'll wait for the official translation.
