So........much.............dialogue..............zzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZzzzzzzz...

Gon has to be on the first ship to the Dark Continent.

The map makes the inhabitable world look tiny compared to the weird ocean seperating the dark world from it.

Also there's no globes, it's all on flat maps. This is hard to picture without knowing the radius of the planet.

There are laptops in this world. There must be spaceships and satellites orbiting the world to get some perspective on the Dark continent.

Weird. That's one reason why I thought the latest AoT arc was so great. The poli intrigue is even better there doe in fairness the translation for this HxH arc isn't that good.



Yea, I'm not saying the arc is bad, I'm just saying I'm not a big fan of politics intrigue stuff.



I'm enjoying the current arc in attack on titan, I just don't want to deal with any more politics intrigue right now from any other manga series.

I was just surprised when I went to the AoT forum and saw a lot of people not liking the uprising arc because of the politics. So since you're a big AoT fan I expected you to like the political side of that arc and this arc in HxH but it turns out you're not a big fan of the poli in both series. So yea, double shock for me right there. I can't believe there are people who dont like the uprising arc and I cant believe you arent a sucker for poli intrigue.

Black Whale No.1 seemed pretty cool ;p Loved that tension between Pariston and Gin, this is going to be good!

am i the only one who is amused that the known world is on a lake? made me chuckle.

Lot's of explanations and background information for a shounen(not that this is TRULY a shounen, it is soo much more than this).  I love the fact that in this episode it plays a lot on politics and macro-decision making.  Weighing in results of actions and best of all making the reader actually think along with the manga in order to fully understand this.Yoshihiro Togashi still has his unique touch, but hopefully there are more of the main characters soon.  Hopefully we will be seeing action soon, like the previous arcs, action normally occurs RIGHT AWAY, and an introduction is after.  (Chimera ant arc where Gon and Killua get shot out of the blue by Kite or Greed Island where an ominous track spellcardwas it track?)

The stakes are higher, there is an odious presence and this story is becoming much more dark every arc.



Ging is teaming up with Pariston now, does Ging have an ulterior motive, did he drop out of the Zodiacs because he knows Pariston's true colors?   LOOKS LIKE IT, Ging is da man.

Ging meets with Pariston and proposes he joins Beyond's team. He also tells Pariston to stop causing trouble because Pariston wanted to send his pet army of 5000 Chimera ant soldiers against one of two targets: the New World if the Hunter Association goes along with Beyond or the Hunter Association itself if it doesn't. Also, Ging might want to be a long wolf in the New World......looks like Gon will have to search for his father in the New World.

Where does it remotely say Pariston will send the chimera's to one of the two organizations?



Again that's not what was said. please refer to my replies to ichii_1 above.

Remember Ging's warning to Cheedle about Pariston's possible use of the 5000 ants as his toys in the bigger playground in 331...that's what he was referring to. He intented to stop Pariston using those ants as bargaining/threatening chip all together.



It'd be better if English speakers just wait for Viz's translations.

Hopefully the introduction to the DC will be short so we can get into it before another hiatus.



On a side note, really impressed with his artwork at the moment. He's properly putting the effort into it and not scribbling again xD



I feel like this is the beginning of what hunter x hunter really is and can see this arc being shit long, or the DC to be comprised of lots of different arcs.
