I hope togashi goes into world-building for HxH so it doesn't suffer from what 'Naruto' did.

It's illogical for Gon and his entourage to go into DC when they haven't even explored the populated world

I hope it wont be some cliche story like

Ging goes missing in the dark continent  Gon to the rescue

Have a bit more faith in togashi then that. I really feel as though this arc could open up to something really great, new world development, new powers, new characters. Probably on the same lines of the dark world tournament saga of YYH, accept with out the tournament. To me that is what its kind of aiming towards. I get the feeling that we might be introduced to a whole slew of new characters and enemies down in the dark continent and we might get a sense of just how dangerous this place is. I really like the mystery aspect of this arc, this is where Hxh shines imo.

Good chapter! It really makes me look forward to what's to come.

Who is the New World's gatekeeper? I guess New World is kind of creepy, not only there are beasts out there but it has catastrophic environment as well, such as deadly viruses.

Aaaaand it's back, hopefully it stays.

I was really hyped, it's kinda lame that none of the main characters appeared, but I liked it nonetheless.

The other way around would be more interesting imo.

I don't think it's ever done before in shonen where they're not fighting against monsters or people but fighting for survival against nature.

As someone as already pointed it out, it's like man vs nature.

So , I was thinking about how togashi might approach the complexity that he is facing with gon . knowing him he would try to avoid the cliché route all time but there might be one solution to it unless it is too typical. If you are updated with the latest chapter then there could be some speculation regarding new developments of the unknown power that resides on dark continent .

When killua called nanika to appear and heal gon it was never mentioned that nanika saved his nen ability . what if nanika’s ability goes so much so as repairing one’s life from but not its nen characteristic because nanika is altogether from another world where nen is not prevailing power but supernatural elements are. From chapter 341 , we can see that nature of co-dependence is what gaseous elements are . what if when somebody is healed by a creature from dark continent stays in a matter similar to the nen exorcism ? I remember in greed island something stuck with that nen exorcist . this phenomena might or might not be relevant here.

The point is , if togashi decides on showing that gon was only physically healed and he paid the price of not using nen anymore will that work on the main protagonist of a series ? so far we haven’t seen gon using nen after his healing . not being able to use nen for life is great compensation for that powerup against pitou . what if the healing from nanika injected gon with another gas form which requires co-dependence as said in the latest chapter . in that case will that be another clever manipulation of togashi for gon not using nen but still being powerful by some unknown supernatural power similar to alluka .that is totally speculation by far which requires much further data and confirmation and not to mention its difficult to predict togashi …

Ah, I see. So Alluka, even perhaps Kurta clan also might have a relation with what is outside.

Excited!
