Good build-up chapter, damn these people can talk. It took me 15 min+ to read this chapter. Not that i'm complaining. Btw I was bit dissapointed that we didn't get to see anybody from the main cast. Such a troll move lol.

------------

Are you guys repairing for the next hiatus, we all knew that he would take another break. I just hope that he will publish 24 chapters before his next break. 6 months should be enjoy for my HxH fix..

I know it's only two chapters in but I find it kind of interesting that so far not a single main character (as in, the main five we were introduced to) have appeared so far in this arc. Course, I'm fully expecting Gon to get involved & hoping beyond hope that Kurapika finds his way into this arc as well.

It's definitely going to be interested to see where this goes though. This chapter wasn't really anything all too special, outside of being the return but it was still effective at building up the Dark Continent.

Well, the main characters need to take a step back and allow the arc and the new characters to be introduced. It will be quite boring if the whole HxH world revolved around Gon and Kurapika like how Naruto is.

I'm kinda interested to find out where all these "human grapes" the ones that were like palm but never got introduced. They would make for good test subjects sending into the new world

Pandora box another great hype a long with the unruly gatekeeper (but really a gatekeeper for part of world common) edit: I really hope that the new world isn't some sort of different dimension and they go all gurren lagann

Anyways glad its back these authors need to take better care of themselves oda sensei is down for 2 weeks now too :(

The human grapes were mentioned during the election arc.

From memory, but see ch. 331

Ging said to Cheadle: Post Netero's death, the human grapes were transported somewhere (I'm guessing NGL) and they've all hatched by now (and they can all use Nen). He hints that Pariston is going to use this "playground" for the next hunter exam.

I... That... Humans twisted up like braids... is kind of disturbing.

I know HxH has a reputation for breaking shounen tropes, but human braids are kinda... gory. (I bet Neon would love a human braid for her collection.) I wonder what did that?

There was one picture of what looked like a human compressed and flattened like a pancake... It reminds me a lot of Alluka killing someone by completely crushing them...

I guess Ging is going to have a big role in this arc. I wonder what the main four are going to do?

Interesting that the anime episode showed how togashi could make new powers a tool for tragedy, and a day later in the manga, he did the same with immortality.

Kite with his friend already had contact with Kakin in the beginning of the ants arc. Maybe a new contract . http://i37.mangareader.net/hunter-x-hunter/186/hunter-x-hunter-326580.jpg

Why did madhouse skip this important information?

So , I was thinking about how togashi might approach the complexity that he is facing with gon . knowing him he would try to avoid the cliché route all time but there might be one solution to it unless it is too typical. If you are updated with the latest chapter then there could be some speculation regarding new developments of the unknown power that resides on dark continent .

I think the thing to be looking forward to with Gon is the fact that he's now a hunter that's gained true notoriety; once he's back into the fold of things, he's going to see that he's grown quite famous among other hunters; I doubt his exploits are going to have gone unnoticed, as however unusual the circumstances, it's indisputable that he's the only human to have killed a royal guard 1:1. Of course, include his very public exchange with Ging and Leorio shouting throughout the election to save him.

If he has managed to get a star out of the ordeal, Kite and/or Biscuit may gain another star (assuming they're only 1-stars), if he could be construed as an official disciple to either. Anyways, he's going to be sought-after now, star or not, given that he took part in the extermination. I wouldn't be surprised to see Morel and crew to jump back into the fold again, as they held Netero's will near and dear to their hearts as well as the Zodiacs (I see it very likely that Morel will become a three-star after this, and possibly replace one of the now-resigned zodiacs).

I think it's safe to assume Leorio and Killua at least will be major players in the coming arc, as Leorio has shown clear regret in not being there for Gon. As for Killua, it seems likely that Alluka's mysterious and terrible power may be related to one of the calamities, so that's an inevitable draw for those two. And if the criminal underworld is as heavily involved in illicit operations with the DC as this chapter suggested, it's highly likely that we could once again see the PT getting in on the action. That of course, brings in Kurapika.

It's all looking like a very grand shitstorm may be brewing down the line, discounting what's sure to be a very fucked up locale for it to all take place in.

I'm beside myself with hype, of course.
