Chimera arc is still the best...so stop hating on every HxH topic...

I read the Chimera ant arc in one go and I thought it was absolutely amazing. Intense and dark with great storytelling/characterization and it just brought HxH to a whole new level for me.

Though I guess if you're a big Kurapika/Leorio fan or if you've been following that arc from the start, it could get frustrating with the hiatuses and the pure length of it. If I'd read it week by week, I'd probably have thought it dragged a bit.



Anyway, yet another great chapter. I'm loving this arc so much. Oh Hisoka, I'm not at all surprised. It's a good thing Killua doesn't have to deal with both Hisoka and Illumi at the same time.

                        Very rough synopsis:



Given that the latest voting as passed the 95% attendance rate, the association has now shortlisted the top 16 candidates for the next round of voting.



On the other hand, Illumi has started his move in an attempt to assassinate Aruka, who is being escorted by Killua and the bodyguards. Their car got rolled down the hills after being driven off the edge by Illumi's controlled truck drivers, and are running away from him and Hisoka.



There is some tension between Killua and the bodyguards he is not close with (those under Silva and not his grandfather). Killua became very defensive when one of the bodyguards said that they are not Killua's enemy, and under Silva's instruction they also have the duty to bring him back home safely - as long as they don't include Aruka's name in their agenda Killua would treat them as his enemy as well.

I liked Greed 'Island the most so far. Chimera ant suffered immensly on the illness of the mangaka and the hiatuses.





as a person who started reading last august (no hiatus at all) i found it pretty awesome

character developement, fights, and everything else

Fantastic chapter! Best since the end of the king, imo.



Illumi's face was just....wow. Togashi at his best. =)



btw, I've been wondering for years, what Leorio's and Kurapika's surnames are. But Paladiknight? Really? :'D

This chapter reminded me very much of Yusuke being chased by Sniper's tanker truck.  I'm particularly glad to know that Togashi's not afraid to create something similar between his series (because character dropping totally hasn't happened before and I totally wasn't looking at the dolls funny for anyone hiding out).  Not my favorite chapter by far, but got the Hisoka/Illumi going and started up the action.  Can't wait for next week.

Pardon my intrusion in your squabble, but that wasn't a negative comment, just stating that a lot of people missed Leorio and Kurapika.  I liked the Ant Arc, thankyouverymuch - Meruem and Komugi's dynamic is one of my favorite in the series.



Now if you don't mind, kindly continue your argument elsewhere so the rest of us don't get dragged into it.

Can someone explain to me what the single, double, triple hunter meant besides each person in the election, I forgot

no it was crap?  Just because you personally liked it does not me we have to.  By far the worst of the entire series and personally I feel the series has not yet recovered.  Kind of boring at the moment.



and just because you don't like it doesn't mean we have to hear you bitching about it on every HxH thread



It had the best character development out of all 6 arcs so far...i'm sorry the hiatus pissed you off,,, and i'm sorry it wasn't an asspull like DB or naruto...but we don't care if you didn't like it...this is a chapter 326 topic, so whine somewhere else..
