Wrong. it's not related to strength directly

It's the hunter's achievements....as a [Insert type] hunter

3-stars = World-wide achievement

I mean that dog woman can't be thaat strong and she's a 3-star..and Bisuke is just a 1-Star hunter

finding new spicies, catching criminals, curing a disease, creating iphone apps :P, finding lost sites(ging) or even creating new sites(ging-GI) can promote hunters



Strength is relevant though, when it comes to Blacklist and Beast hunters since their job as hunters mainly involves fights as well as other hunters who achieve something through fighting(morel and the ant incident)

LMAO. Yeah I don't get what was so bad about the chimera ant arc. It was my favorite so far. Don't tell me you guys didn't think it was genius how Knuckle fought Yupi and almost defeated him but had to take pot clean off of him last minute. That was awesome. I also liked the development as well as the fights. I guess people feel trolled because they expected Gon or someone to kill the king and have an epic battle with him or something while it ended with Gon only beating a lieutenant and the king dying from poison. HxH isn't that generic of a shounen or predictable so a lot of people's expectations for a beast ending wasn't met I guess. I know everyone has their opinion and all but numbers don't lie. Those volumes got best sellers in Japan.

I loved this chapter! I'm really looking forward to how this arc goes, and I'm hoping we get a lot of crazy political-ish stuff happening with the hunter election thingy, since...I guess I like convoluted political intrigue. I have high hopes for how the whole election things gonna go! And it looks like Killua's gonna have a tough time getting Alluka to Gon! The familial love between Killua and Alluka is so strong it brings a tear to my eye. :'D

More like your opinion about it is crap. Who on Earth do you mean by we? Millions of Japanese who bought the last 3 volumes of the Ant arc and rated them higher than even earlier volumes, and tons of oversea fans who appreciate its subtlety in characterization and storyteling? Well, I guess it can't be help; a person who finds the current arc boring like you should only stick with real, mindless, action-packed crap such as bleach, reborn! etc., they suit you much better.

I don't mind being the odd one out. ;)

I have actually felt quite sorry for Illumi since he came in way back, especially since we got to see the parents come across as the 'ditsy mum' and 'cool dad' whilst he holds a certian level of equal parental responsability.
