I'm glad that Ittou took the job despite it being a trap since the ninjas wish for revenge was real.

This was an interesting chapter due to the fact that Itto still decided to take the mission even though it was from an enemy, a Kurokuwa ninja, and also a trap. Itto was able to see through his lies and discern that he was part of the Kurokuwa, but Itto also knew that his story and tears for his dead family were true. That's why he ended up taking the mission, since the man's vengeance was warranted. Itto's mission was to assassinate the four Ojigiyaku men that killed the Kurokuwa ninja's family, but the other Kurokuwa ninjas were using them for their plot to have Itto killed. They had a backup plan set up in case something went wrong. They were going to unleash heavy logs to crush Itto. Itto called out the Ojigiyaku men to a duel and even with it being 4 against 1, he easily and intelligently handled the situation. Using the cart to keep distance between them and throwing his sword to quickly kill one man, Itto used his Nagamaki to kill the other three swiftly. The Kurokuwa ninjas were going to unleash the logs, but surprisingly their comrade betrayed them since Itto helped him fulfill his revenge. One of the ninjas was able to make a cut on the rope that was holding up the logs before his comrade could kill him, but the comrade was able to hold onto the rope long enough for Itto to make his escape. Unable to hold it any longer, he let go and the logs ended up crushing all the other men that were ready to go after Itto. So in the end, everything worked out perfectly for Itto and even the Kurokuwa ninja that hired him even though he was really suppose to kill Itto.

i think that the Kurokuwa ninja  didn't let the logs go, rather unable to keep but still holding them he fell to his death.
