Anyway, a lot of great moments in these last few chapters. I love Vegeta coming up with a plan and commandeering everyone, and how he even incorporated the people he killed in the tournament during his wish. I love Vetega being brought back to life, and his surprise at that. With how much the Buu arc has focused on Vegeta's growth, it'd feel wrong for the series to condemn him further, so this reward is nice. There's the aforementioned revisits from older characters, Upa, 17, & 8. 17's pretty recent but he's always been one of my favourites but getting 8 & Upa again is a real nice bonus, they go way back in the series history and it's nice to have them be recognized as the series comes to a close. And finally, Hercules saving the day is pretty nice, I even like that he apologized for taking the credit this time, saying it was the only way they'd listen.

Phenomenal but slightly lacking in buildup

Great emotional moment, if a bit oversentimental, but it is the end of the series so it's earned. Nice to see some old characters, would have liked even more to show up. That would have even clearer shown that all of Goku's adventures have lead him here. Some characters I would have liked to see give energy on Goku's request are the King (you know, the dog) and the Tournament announcer,



C17 should have trusted Vegeta though and give his energy directly...



But of course, it's not enough. And in steps our hero, our saviour, Mr. Satan. A great character this arc. He already proved his worth somewhat with befriending Boo, but now even more so. And it's so refreshing to have someone play a role in the conclusion of a fight that isn't just a strong fighter. We haven't had that since the Saiyan arc and fight against Vegeta.

About that Android 17 plot hole:


It took over 20 years to be explained in Super how 17 recognized Goku's voice.



And HOW is the mayor of Jingle Village alive?! In the Dragon Ball universe, people can't die from old age, hence Bulma's father and Ox King still being around.
