I get the feeling this fight will b quite short. Let big brother kamui get schooled by even bigger big brother gintoki.
just read a rough translation: ouch gintoki really is telling him like it is. Poor kid, but he deserves it. Let the battle commence, nd let this b the last time he's called an idiot brother lol

Kamui is much more fatigued than Gintoki is, plus Gintoki is much stronger than he was when he fought Housen. So it's more/less an equal fight. Actually, if anyone has the higher chance, it's Gintoki.

I guess gintoki doesn't want to c kagura hurt anymore, so he's taking full responsibility even when he shouldn't. It was kagura's fight but it's obvious she's still not up to her brother's level yet...physically wise.
I dont like how gintoki seems to b the "solution " to this family "problem ", it totally downgrades the entire yato family making kagura and umi look like totall failures.
Actually, I agree with this, and it's partly responsible for why I'm somewhat disappointed with recent events. I understand that it's usually Gintoki who resolves these things or pushes towards a resolve for the problem as he did during the Obi Hajime arc with Shinpachi. Hopefully, Gintoki only acts somebody to push this family in the right direction.
I doubt it's going to be a full-scale fight - I can't see much fighting chemistry. Maybe some kind of "let-me humor-him-to-get-through-to-him" kind of thing. We've already seen how Kagura's grown, but I do still hold out for Sorachi letting her or Umibozu have the final say in whatever mindset Kamui has.

Kagura v. Abuto was a great fight, especially since it finally placed emphasis on Kagura's race/blood. Going yato mode is something to consider and I do wish we did see her giving in to her instincts before this =/ Right now though, the emphasis is on saving her family (I think).
I too don't want Kagura standing on the sidelines as Gintoki takes over, but I feel as though her losing to her instinct would defeat her character growth and development. Maybe on something through her own terms.

Every fight afterwards (even for that fight) he would lose the first round and win the second, meaning his ability would continue to reach his prime the second time he fights when his body gets used to the person he's fighting (since it was always a stronger opponent). Furthermore, it's a Shonen trope that the MC (or characters in general) get stronger the more they experience, and even though Gintoki didn't practice, he still got training in the form of occasionally fighting strong opponents.
Therefore, the Gintoki right now, has achieved his prime strength (technically, by Shogun Assassination he did, because Takasugi was portrayed as strong as Kamui in Odds & Evens, just as Katsura was to his fellow disciples when he "shed his coward skin").

Gintoki's letting kamui to let go of all that bottled up anger hes been stewing himself in for almost a decade. Once thats out he can reform.
Im getting tired of sll the kamui drama: its been dragged out and it's hurting his character (haters out there) not to mention his popularity so i hope by next chapter or two its done. :/ Kamui will eventually reform, so that he wouldn't "fall apart" in the upcoming Gintama character poll (on May if i ain't wrong) LOL
