Sasaki's death teared me up, but it was Nobume's reaction that really killed me T_T

Very very sad to see Sasaki dying,a really tragic character and this is one of the most emotional chapters for me.This will be even sadders once it gets animated.

I feel bad for Nobume now, left alone and probably feels like she failed at protecting Sasaki just like with his wifes D:

Sniff...I cried my eyes out when Sasaki felll and when the truth of his family murders, Nobume did not kill them she was only trying to help them..sniff.



God, Sasaki and Nobume are such great characters, this arc made my heart pound for so many reasons that it have surely become one of my all time favourite arcs in the entire series.



I"m glad though that Nobume survived but Sasaki" death was very painful as well.

Sayonara Sasaki. But will Nobume jump off to die with Sasaki? That will be more tragic and I don't want it to happen but I don't know what Nobume will do after this.



Really don't know if Gintama can enter to a comedy arc. They could have if Utsuro was never introduced, but he did. Gintoki will be thinking of Utsuro so I think Sorachi needs to settle things with Utsuro before any comedy kicks in.

Well damn, looks like they finally escaped, when they come back to Edo, only silence will remain.



Glad Nobume didn't kill his familly, RIP by brodie Sasaki.



Now one can wonder will we be back to comedy next arc, or continue this serious arc streak.

Don"t you remember what Takasugi said in the Shogun Assasination Arc? "That there was no turning back now to their every day living lives of being idioits". If you look at the world where everyone have ended up in now, it seems pretty damn obvious that the series is drawing its curtains for its climax.

Poor Nobume, that twist at the end was brilliant though it broke my heart even more T.T
