Maybe since Yamamoto didn't specifically say it was his old acquaintance. For all we know, he might actually be referring to Daemon Spade's old acquaintance. :))



But if it's really an old acquaintance of Yamamoto, why keep Talbot a secret?



Let's assume Yamamoto really was referring to Talbot, there would be no impact to the readers and to the other guardians since we saw him appear in this present arc already. He's still fresh in our minds. We'd all think, "Ah. Should have expected that."



If it's someone from a previous arc, there's a high probability that the readers would all think, "WHOA! Didn't see that one coming!" because it was someone we thought we will never see again.



So, there. I think the only help Talbot gave Yamamoto was the ring upgrade and not the cure for his dead legs. Then again, we'll never know until the update. Amano likes giving us surprises. Hahahaha!

For those who were saying that it couldn't have been Byakuran who helped Yamamoto, the only person I could think of as "an old acquaintance" is Genkishi. Or Lanchia. Oh, and then there's Longchamp, but naaaaah. It couldn't have been him. I don't see any point of him helping Yamamoto. He doesn't owe him anything anyway.



This has been bugging me since forever. Why show Byakuran in one of the chapters with his wings? I don't see the point of any mist guardians to disguise themselves as him. :|



Maybe it's Kawahira? Remember him? I-pin's customer. :))

Amano hinted that something is definitely odd about that guy in the future arc, right? What do you think? I think helping them back in the future can be considered as an old acquaintance. And I think it's time Amano mentions something about that guy.

And yea.... if the guardians are there how did Shimon die?!



Either he sacrificed himself to protect one of the guardians... he died from his wounds (unlikely) or all/most of the guardians and Shimon were wiped out...



Now that I read your comment and thought about it..its possible that the first generation guardians might have been wiped out in this battle....especially considering how Daemon was also the second generation's Mist guardian :/ Or maybe not wiped out but escaped or fled?





*Adding*: I'm thinking this probably sets up the stage toward the moments where Daemon (with the future 2nd Vongola boss?) probably overthrew Giotto and his guardians...and put the 2nd Vongola boss as the leader of Vongola? I can somewhat see this happening. Anyone think so too?



Also considering how Giotto managed to escape to Japan instead of getting killed by the 2nd Vongola boss...do you think Daemon might have helped him with that? I think this depends on whether Daemon actually saw Giotto as a friend or not.

you need to do process of elimination again the one at the far right is actually Enma, if it were knuckle he would be wearing that mask thing over his face like others who lost :P



Wait a minute. Are we talking about the last page? If we are, the far right is DEFINITELY Knuckle. Enma is the one lying on the ground in the middle (between G and Lampo). And Knuckle has darker hair than Enma does.

I thought of this possibility too. I think it'll work on someone in real life. But honestly though, I just think its just a hassle and something too crazy or mind-boggling to put that possibility in this manga x__X I don't know...I just think it wouldn't feel right...or it'll feel too weird for the author to do that. *Shrugs*
