Slam Dunk Chapter 276 Discussion

Although I'd like open-ended series to increase more, most series aren't able to achieve this very well imo.

Even though the series is over, it still feels like it's not over. It must be difficult to convey this to the reader.

Open-ended + bittersweet definitely the best final for a series and Slam Dunk managed it.



Also we can say that this injury is the beginning of the real era for Sakuragi.

What about that big first year? They build him up but they don’t even face him. I wish there was a sequel

I seems like I'm one of the fews that didn't like this sudden ending ugh.

So after such a long time after the Slam Dunk manga ended, does anyone really know who won the nationals? I'm pretty sure Kainan High didn't win it.

I think a lot of people were mad of the no Sakuragi x Haruko thing. I was also mad at first about not them being together, at first. Then I realized I think Haruko fully realizes that Sakuragi likes her. In the chapters before this one, Sakuragi jumps up and tells her that he loves Basketball and isn't lying about it this time. In the letter at the end of the manga, she says, "Return to the basketball team that you love." Maybe she wrote that hinting, "Return to me, the one that you love." Since he told her I love basketball maybe she took it also as a love confession. I want to believe it like that because it makes the ending a lot better in my opinion.

Wow this is truly One of The Greatest if not THE Greatest manga of all time!!



Didn't expect that ending i was 100% sure that they're gonna lose to Sannoh but this plot twist was amazing.

tho i wanted to see them play against that OP first year student or play a rematch against Kainan before their game against Sannoh.



I didn't get the point of all that build up for the OP first year student just to be completely forgotten, was it supposed to mean that he beat Kainan in the finals and won the Nationals?





All in all, their match against Sannoh was fuckin LEGENDARY especially those last 5 minutes goddamm that shit was pure greatness. and that last point OH MY FUCKIN GOD!!!! Been waiting YEARS to see that shit.
